Pretty spot on to what i've experienced. Played 921 Tours for 2 seasons, then switched to 923 forged since they made them a lot smaller profile compared to 921 forged. I do miss the control with distance of the Tours but I picked up a club in length and forgiveness with the forged.
A fitting is best for a mid handicap. For reference I went from bogey golf to a ~7 with jpx 850 forged. They suit my needs, and swing speed. My biggest upgrade was driver shaft last year. Fixed a lot of my issues off the tee, so again, fitting is the route you'll need to go for any real answer.
923 Tours are some of the nicest feeling irons I’ve ever hit. But at ~100 mph swing speed, they are definitely too spinny and high flying for me at the moment
Sounds like a dynamic loft issue. Plus you can always get the lofts adjusted to accommodate. Tour players are still playing blades, or close to it, with traditional lofts 90+ swing speeds.
@ Yeah, I am actually going to single-length Avodas to get my height down. The amount of forward shaft lean I have to put on traditional irons just ain’t worth it anymore
No - these were released early 2023. Realized we didn't formally compare or feature the Forged and Tour models on the channel. Our initial Swing Report only had the Hot Metal models.
@@quickvr4 oh my silly phone doing AutoCorrect I don't know what that was. Its iron thanks. I'm just wondering about the difference between the different forged JPX models. I've got back into the game... And I was looking at a set of JPX 850s or 900s

Nice review. coulld you do a JPX 923 Forged vs the Mizuno 245 irons? Thanks...Which is better for a mid handcap player....

Are 925 forged and 925 tour expected to be released in 2025?
Jan 17
Which ones would be equivalent to the pro 243s
the Tour would be closest.....but the 243s are a couple of degrees stronger loft.
Did he rip a huge fart at 5:25?
😂😂😂😂
Why not compare 900 Tour, 921 Tour, and 923 Tour?
We definitely could, this is a great idea!
Becasue there is not much difference...the Tours are just your classic soft forged cavity back that has been around for a while
@quickvr4 I want newer ispms ..should I look at the 850 or 900 jpxs or 919 jpxs
@@nevvanclarke9225 what is "ispms"?
