Haiti Gang Leader Threatens to Kill 17 Kidnapped Missionaries

- The leader of the 400 Mawozo gang that police say is holding 17 members of a kidnapped missionary group was seen in a video released Thursday saying he will kill them if he doesn’t get what he’s demanding.
The video posted on social media shows Wilson Joseph dressed in a blue suit, carrying a blue hat and wearing a large cross around his neck.
“I swear by thunder that if I don’t get what I’m asking for, I will put a bullet in the heads of these Americans,” he said in the video.
He also threatened Prime Minister Ariel Henry and the chief of Haiti’s National Police, Léon Charles, as he spoke in front of the open coffins that apparently held several members of his gang who were recently killed.
“You guys make me cry. I cry water. But I’m going to make you guys cry blood,” he said.
Earlier this week, authorities said that the gang was demanding $1 million per person, although it wasn’t immediately clear that included the five children in the group, among them an 8-month-old.
Sixteen Americans and one Canadian were abducted, along with their Haitian driver.
The missionaries are with Ohio-based Christian Aid Ministries, which held a news conference before someone posted the video of the gang leader.

Jesus Christ showed himself by tons of incredible fulfilled prophecy, and miracles no man has since accomplished - including being without sin, to be God in the flesh - one of the 3 persons of the one God as revealed throughout the Bible - God, Son, and Holy Spirit - which is reflected in his creation of humans... INCREDIBLE. But He came to earth around 2000 years ago to provide the way of salvation from sin. Literally God was walking on earth in the form of a human - showed people the truth, and was Himself the blood sacrifice for our sins - for it was shown in the Bible, the shedding of blood and a life lost was the way by which sins could be made right - but the only sacrifice that could make a forever way for our sins to be made right was Jesus Christ - the perfect sacrifice. A KEY is this - that this is not an automatic gift to all people, there is in fact a heaven and a hell, and where you spend eternity hinges upon your hearts response to Jesus Christ.
Eternal amazing life comes from believing in Jesus Christ which is actually a work of God in your life bringing you to do that - it is an undeserved gift to some. Yet we are fully responsible for our actions and some reject Jesus Christ as savior, and oppose the true God, so to those who do not believe in Jesus Christ to save them from their sin, rejecting Him, they will pay the ultimate price of never ending eternal hell after death - there is actually not a worse mistake a human being could ever make in their life that reject Jesus Christ. Believe in faith in Christ alone to save you from this eternal penalty that is due our sin, and what will happen if this is real in your heart is that your actions then will change - you will want to turn from your sin and follow Jesus Christ. Because faith will result in good works, good works do not save you from your already committed sin, but they do evidence that your faith is true. And this is the only way to eternal life after death, not eternal hellfire which is eternally horrific. I say this gently but powerfully, AWAKE AWAKE AWAKE TO THAT REALITY. The way you can see this for yourself is to read the Bible. Who is Jesus Christ to you? That's the key

I’m Haitian but most of what he said was correctly translated but the captions were ahead of his actual words. Just one thing they missed was that he said “if I don’t get what I want I will kill them all” but that’s just it.. otherwise the translation is accurate, but it is ahead of his words.
