Well, oops, your right I should have shown after...I guess I wasn't thinking, I was focused on showing how. But yes it helps, cycling the oil in before you put it all back together helps, I have forgotten to do that in the past and thought I made a mistake, it will still work itself out after a few rides but it's best to do it when you can freely cycle the forks. It provides a lot more compression damping so no more bottoming out the forks are a lot stiffer so the bike feels more stable at speed. Still the rebound damping is weak but at least it no longer feels like a Pogo stick! I will do a complete ride review when all the mods are done, and try and cover what works and what does not. And yes 3oz seems to be perfect

The shocks had a RFY sticker on them, though I think if they look like this they are all probably the same?
