In all the years that I have watched TV, I always thought that Zack Morris was the worst character of all time, and he was and still is! Whenever Zack is in trouble, he never learns his lesson, especially when he sold pictures of girls in their swimsuits without permission and almost sexually assaulted Kelly a few times. If I were the principal of Bayside High School, I would’ve expelled Zack!
the only reason why Zach is so quickly forgiven in each episode is because the script calls for it it's a TV show in real life he would get his ass kicked.

Zack for all his faults was actually a pretty loyal boyfriend I mean I guess you count the nurse but they weren't official.Also Zack dated a lot of girls but not until after Kelly broke up with him. I always thought it was ironic though the one time Zack was portrayed as a villain was the only time he hadn't done really anything wrong in the aftermath of Kelly dumping him.

I don't think MPG should have apologized for the Native American appropriation episode. He's an actor. It wasn't his idea. Peter Engel and the other executives of SBTB should apologize.
Doesn't make sense because I don't see the cultural appropriation in it. He stereotyped Native Americans and his teacher reprimanded him for it. He then learned the "true" history of his ancestor. There was a lesson for 12 year olds in the episode. The way they present the bad behavior is through zack's trashing, that all the lessons get learned

Maybe she wanted to feel like she wasn't a loser. A teen girl often has a set of complicated reasons for choosing to try date who she does. Sometimes it's all about looks but often there are other underlying reasons behind that choice. One of my neices started dating a 20 year old at age 14 because she didn't want to be treated like a child anymore by her alcoholic, bipolar mother. She doesn't think he's hot. She doesn't have much in common with him but he makes her feel safe & her mom, who is one of those women who always needs to have a man, takes her more seriously, which is the only thing she was interested in. I don't agree with her dating this man & I don't like it but there isn't much I can do about it.

In the drunk driving episode, Zack was an idiot, but to be honest, it was really hard to feel sorry for any one of them. They're high school seniors and damn well should have known better than to get in a car with a drunk driver (and they didn't want Screech, who hadn't had a drink at all, to drive them just...because). And in fairness, Jessie was just as bad as Zack in the episode with the female wrestler for being a jealous pinhead.

I think #3 is as much on Lisa as it is on Zack. In the episode a sober Screech did in fact volunteer to drive the others home, but Lisa quickly vetoed the idea, saying that Screech couldn’t even walk without bumping into something. Had Lisa swallowed her pride and let Screech drive, Zack wouldn’t have driven drunk.

This is a clever and underrated comment. I never knew the Miss Bliss episodes were a different show. I remember watching as a kid and all the episodes had the SBTB intro, so I thought it was one show; Bayside was high school and Miss Bliss was middle school. I only just learned the Miss Bliss episodes were a different show recently.
My answer is when he hired an actor to pretend to be his father just to go to the school carnival and the ski trip. Later his father asks him why he didn't talk to him about his grade and his excuse was you're difficult to talk to. If I was his teacher I would say Don't change the subject, Zack, this is not about your dad, it's about you. You don't ever lie to your father about things like that, screw up again and your school days here are over. The drinking and driving episode was his worst behavior too because he lies again to his father, luckily he learned a really great lesson about this, I would be like Young Man, do you know you can go to jail for that?!
There are three other times that topped number 1: The No Hope With Dope episode where Zack singlehandedly framed a popular actor to star in a PSA taped at their school and placed himself as the star instead. The second was the 2-part Christmas episode where Zack took advantage of a homeless girl by helping her just so he could not only score a date; but get her to live with him as well. But the coup de grâce was the love triangle Zack created between he and Lisa knowing damn well Screech had deep feelings for her. Words cannot describe the hurt and betrayal.
Zack did do one scheme that helped one of his friends. In the SATs episode, Jessie only scored around a 1200 on her SATs, and representatives from different colleges came to Bayside, so students can talk to them about wanting to attend their colleges and one of the representatives was from Stansbury (Saved By the Bell's parody of Stanford) which is the college Jessie dreamed of going to her whole life. At first the representative thought Jessie was Stansbury material when Mr. Belding told the representative that Jessie is a straight A student and student council president, but then, when she asked Jessie what her SAT score was and when she told her her score, she told Jessie that there are more perfectly adequate colleges that she should try talking to, which got Jessie upset, so Zack's scheme was to have James, a part time actor who works at the Max go to Bayside and impersonate a representative from Harvard who's only there for Jessie. When Zack talks to the representative from Harvard, he told Zack that he only came to see Jessie, so Zack tries to tell him that he scored around 1500 on his SATs, but the representative from Harvard says that a decent SAT score is not enough to impress Harvard because that's only one test score and they want a student with more qualities, such as straight A's and certain extra curricular activities, and Jessie is Bayside's only student with those qualities and the Stansbury representative starts to show regret on her face. Zack then has James leave the gym before Slater takes Jessie to the Stansbury representative to tell her off for the way she disrespected Jessie, but they bump into each other by accident, and then when Slater begins to tell off the Stansbury representative, she says that Jessie is her number one choice with an apology for the mistreatment she gave her the other day and hopes that she'll come to Stansbury and tells Jessie to tell the representative from Harvard that coming to Bayside was nothing but a waste of his time and then Jessie gets confused, saying that no one from Harvard is here, but the Stansbury representative says that they are and they want her and then that's when Jessie realized that Zack had James come to Bayside to impersonate a Harvard representative who only came for her as a way to get the Stansbury representative to change her mind about accepting Jessie, but she decides that she doesn't want to go to Stansbury anymore because of their true colors, so that's one scheme of Zack's that did one of his friends a favor.
what about that time his teacher had just saved enough money to buy a new car she desperately needed, and he caused her to lose all of it by investing in potatoes in her name
I still watch. But these morons will get it banned. This time period we live in is so weird. Zack did things like that because each show taught a lesson. And nobody read into it as they do now. Beverly Hills 90210 was ahead of its time too. They had many of the same storylines but in a more serious mature matter like the teen line. Covering things up like driving drunk. Which most teens did anyway in normal time es. So on tv they taught us it was wrong.

Folks, there is not anything racist about the family lineage episode. His ancestors were indian. Dressing up like one is an homage. Jesse trying to make it up to Lisa for what her ancestors did is noble, even though she never took part in it. People are so brittle and offended now over the most ridiculous things
I think the worst thing that Zack had was driving drunk. Which by the way, he should have, took that more seriously.
I think #3 is as much on Lisa as it is on Zack. In the episode a sober Screech did in fact volunteer to drive the others home, but Lisa quickly vetoed the idea, saying that Screech couldn’t even walk without bumping into something. Had Lisa swallowed her pride and let Screech drive, Zack wouldn’t have driven drunk.

This is a clever and underrated comment. I never knew the Miss Bliss episodes were a different show. I remember watching as a kid and all the episodes had the SBTB intro, so I thought it was one show; Bayside was high school and Miss Bliss was middle school. I only just learned the Miss Bliss episodes were a different show recently.

This list is sooo cringe that it makes me wonder why I liked this show so much when I was younger.
My answer is when he hired an actor to pretend to be his father just to go to the school carnival and the ski trip. Later his father asks him why he didn't talk to him about his grade and his excuse was you're difficult to talk to. If I was his teacher I would say Don't change the subject, Zack, this is not about your dad, it's about you. You don't ever lie to your father about things like that, screw up again and your school days here are over. The drinking and driving episode was his worst behavior too because he lies again to his father, luckily he learned a really great lesson about this, I would be like Young Man, do you know you can go to jail for that?!

There are three other times that topped number 1: The No Hope With Dope episode where Zack singlehandedly framed a popular actor to star in a PSA taped at their school and placed himself as the star instead. The second was the 2-part Christmas episode where Zack took advantage of a homeless girl by helping her just so he could not only score a date; but get her to live with him as well. But the coup de grâce was the love triangle Zack created between he and Lisa knowing damn well Screech had deep feelings for her. Words cannot describe the hurt and betrayal.
Zack did do one scheme that helped one of his friends. In the SATs episode, Jessie only scored around a 1200 on her SATs, and representatives from different colleges came to Bayside, so students can talk to them about wanting to attend their colleges and one of the representatives was from Stansbury (Saved By the Bell's parody of Stanford) which is the college Jessie dreamed of going to her whole life. At first the representative thought Jessie was Stansbury material when Mr. Belding told the representative that Jessie is a straight A student and student council president, but then, when she asked Jessie what her SAT score was and when she told her her score, she told Jessie that there are more perfectly adequate colleges that she should try talking to, which got Jessie upset, so Zack's scheme was to have James, a part time actor who works at the Max go to Bayside and impersonate a representative from Harvard who's only there for Jessie. When Zack talks to the representative from Harvard, he told Zack that he only came to see Jessie, so Zack tries to tell him that he scored around 1500 on his SATs, but the representative from Harvard says that a decent SAT score is not enough to impress Harvard because that's only one test score and they want a student with more qualities, such as straight A's and certain extra curricular activities, and Jessie is Bayside's only student with those qualities and the Stansbury representative starts to show regret on her face. Zack then has James leave the gym before Slater takes Jessie to the Stansbury representative to tell her off for the way she disrespected Jessie, but they bump into each other by accident, and then when Slater begins to tell off the Stansbury representative, she says that Jessie is her number one choice with an apology for the mistreatment she gave her the other day and hopes that she'll come to Stansbury and tells Jessie to tell the representative from Harvard that coming to Bayside was nothing but a waste of his time and then Jessie gets confused, saying that no one from Harvard is here, but the Stansbury representative says that they are and they want her and then that's when Jessie realized that Zack had James come to Bayside to impersonate a Harvard representative who only came for her as a way to get the Stansbury representative to change her mind about accepting Jessie, but she decides that she doesn't want to go to Stansbury anymore because of their true colors, so that's one scheme of Zack's that did one of his friends a favor.

I still watch. But these morons will get it banned. This time period we live in is so weird. Zack did things like that because each show taught a lesson. And nobody read into it as they do now. Beverly Hills 90210 was ahead of its time too. They had many of the same storylines but in a more serious mature matter like the teen line. Covering things up like driving drunk. Which most teens did anyway in normal time es. So on tv they taught us it was wrong.
