Half the drama in this video series is the servers. The other half is the robot voice vs Beaver
You can take off from a standing start by holding spacebar even as a baby. Supposedly it takes more stamina but if you factor in the sprinting and potential failures during takeoff while running I think it's better over all. Plus you can perch up on rocks that way and not have to worry about not having enough space to take off.

Ok, regardless of how mediocre the current condition of Evrima is, they sure did a great job with the Deinosuchus and the Pteranodon.
I’ve encountered several game breaking bugs with Deinosuchus, but the Pteranodon was done 👌
