He is exactly that. He was at a small barbershop today across the river here, just getting a haircut alongside other men, and joking around while some people filmed him on their phones. He's so the opposite of our southern neighbour's 'leader'.

Don't thank Albanese. Aussies are waiting for the chance to get rid of him after the Bondi massacre and his piss poor leadership. Aussies love Canada but you also have a leader who loves Muslims as Carney attested to when he said that Muslim values are Canadian values. The two don't work together.

As they did in the Korean War. How the Australian army on one hill, and the Canadian army on the next hill just 1 mile away, stopped the 5,000 strong Chinese army from advancing any further on the road to Seoul is still one of the greatest achievements in military history.

    • @Rhythm911
      @Rhythm911 Month ago +10

🤔 But you left out the best part !?!? The part about how many soldiers our respective forces had against those 5K to 20K, (from an online search) enemy attackers!! !! We had approximately 700 hundred soldiers in each group, or a Battalion in Canada's military of the time, and most likely same for Australia's military. A grand total of 1400 against 5K to 20K,enemy attackers !! That's anywhere from 4 to 15 times outnumbered !! 😮WE are supreme bad a** warriors together !!!😉 It's also how we, together, took Juno Beach in '41 !!! My father was there and he was 40 years old at the time !! He had stories for sure ! And WW1's Gallipoli would have been very different without the Aussie's there!!
!There are a lot of vid's telling of how Canadians were feared, by the enemy, from the 2 Great wars until now !! And I personally know a good chunk of the history of how Australia's forces have had a very similar "Resume of War" and reputation !!! And Australia even went 'Above and Beyond' entering 'Nam with 'boots on the ground '!!! All Canada did was stand offshore and conduct naval bombardment on North Viet' targets !!
And I also had the honor, during my last overseas deployment in the Navy, of working and socializing for some of that 4 month deployment with Australian Navy MIL-SPEC brothers in 1983 during a Pacific Alliance operation. involving Canada, Australia, Japan and the US ! . During my time in there were many recollections, 😁about the Aussies from our older members !! 😅

Canadian here. Though I'm impressed with what PM Carney said at Australia's House of Representatives, I'm also very impressed with the welcomes given by Primeminister Albanese and Australia's Opposition Leader Taylor. The Australian people are very fortunate to have such leaders in their government. I laughed out loud when PM Albanese said "Canadian rebels with bold ideas are always welcome in Australia." And I was filled with a certain pride when Opposition Leader Taylor said that Canada's Confederation was used as a teaching tool for Australia to build their own.
I live in Alberta. The home province of Canadian PM Carney. And I would like to echo and reinforce his thanks to Australia's fire fighters in helping us through a time that was very frightening here. God Bless Australia's fire fighters for that. Thanks.

I am prouder than ever to be Canadian as I witness our leader create an open dialog with the nations of the world, bring forth worthy solutions, with the betterment of everyone in mind, and all with his signature Canadian humor and humility. I love the warm welcome from Australia's parliament. It is clear that our 2 nations governments feel more like family than simple allies. 🇨🇦❤🇦🇺🎉

      True, we’ll sort of.

Australia and New Zealand’s ties are simply impossible to describe to other countries.
But none of that takes anything away from the level of trust and respect we also have for Canada too.
We have NEVER have any reason to mistrust or even dislike ANY Canadian ever.
That can’t be said for your southern neighbours.
What’s also telling is the truely bi partisan support for Canada, always.

      Carney is a complete joke.
      Cyprus was attacked.
Greece and France had to rush to its defense, because CANZUK Britain can’t get its one ship out of dock.
Starmer had blocked use of bases to America; but then had to beg America to protect Britain, because it couldn’t protect itself.
“America” had to go protect the Brits.
Where is “Canada’s” mighty navy & Air Force?
I see no Canadian Navy rushing to protect Britains Cyprus.
I see no Canadian Air Force scrambling to protect British air bases & troops.
Canada is a “Paper Moose” 🫎.
      😂
Don’t follow pied piper “Con” Carney down his rabbit hole Australia.
If you do, America might move its assets to other Pacific nations.
Leaving Canada to help protect Australia from an Invasion by China and North Korea. 😂
      Good Luck with that. 🤣
      America is only getting stronger.
Canada is floundering because they elected nitwit “Con” Carney to lead them. 😂
If you dropped me; Carney; and Starmer off in the middle of any remote area on earth; I would walk out, and nature would get those two socialist gas bag nitwit clowns. 🤡 🤡

  • @22222murray
    @22222murray Month ago +379

I am Canadian. What has and continues to impress me about PM Mark Carney besides his economic background, is how he focuses on making decisions out of the Values of collaboration and the importance of working together. The world has often stated that the largest powers in the world are economic and military. Personally, I believe we are moving out of that. I believe true power comes from decisions made out of the Values that work for the good of all, and I see that countries who see and honor this way of relating will create a new order in the world. Thank you Australia, for seeing this as well and let us build bridges together in the both parliamentary ways and in small day to day ways through our common Values. It takes a majority of a nation to build a new way together.

@grosvenorclub Yes. I think your moniker is appropriate. Trudeau was a young at heart, rah-rah-sis-boom-bah idealist that went whole hog into environmentalism, completely forgetting and abandoning, even hampering, the partner that we needed in the transition…our resources. In the process, he p’ off Alberta, made us a fair bit poorer and in the end result where are we ? No where better off. Though I totally agree that we need that transition, it takes A LOT of money to get there and it needs to be done gradually. Should’ve started decades ago, but we humans can never seem to get it together. It usually takes a catastrophe.

Trudeau made one horrible decision after another, he knew what trump was planning and did little to prepare.Justin presumed that Trump’s 2021 loss was the end of it, I wish trump had won in 2021 (hear me out, I know it sounds crazy) because his cabinet acted more like baby sitters supervising him and trying to control and mitigate the damage, they had a vice president who could be trusted at-least to keep his oath of office.
Had trump won in 2021, he and the heritage foundation cult would not have had four years to plan out their revenge, the pandemic wouldve sapped his support, the Afghan withdrawal disaster would’ve been blamed on him, it was his own fault in reality but Biden took the blame. Trudeau would’ve been forced out sooner.

This parliament is so refreshingly polite. It’s nice to see a government body being respectful and taking their positions seriously. And opening with a beautiful prayer. America’s senate and house hearings are nothing like this. I’m so envious of this respectful government body behaving as true ladies and gentlemen and taking their jobs to heart. Sadly ours are despicable and disgusting. If you’ve seen Patel or Bondi testifying or in oversight committees it’s embarrassing and humiliating to our country. Our leaders and representatives act like alley cats and dogs. It’s true, our country, at least our government, those holding our highest elected offices, have literally gone to the dogs. You’re blessed, truly. Be grateful.

Hello Folks, from Ireland. I can only say that I am convinced that this partnership between Australia and Canada will be of great importance and a source of mutual wealth and security for both countries, looking forward. This will surely be a successful union with two capable, understanding and reliable heads of state to guide both countries into the future. This is so important at a time when unreliability is all around the globe.
I wish you both a long and prosperous union for the safety and security of both your peoples.
This new arrangement proves to me that when leaders who are capable and intelligent and willing, great alliances can be forged to mutual advantages.

I’m impressed by how many deals Canada has secured after the new administration took office and how they made Canada desirable for investors. They will manifest in job creation and growth, you will see in upcoming months and years. You will however not realise the disaster the administration is avoiding by correct actions, which is good! :)

He's not perfect, i'll agree, but compared to the cons of which PP is part o f the heritage foundation same as Trump and Harper was, we got lucky. Carney is the perfect man for the job right now. the USA economy is about to tank and take allot of the world economy with it. it's the exact same situation before the great depression, only difference is, the USA is in a war and has allot more debt, and Carney got the jump on it and has been making trade deals across the planet for almost a year already, during the depression, it wasn't till after the economy tanked that they went looking, a whole year later.

Brings a tear to my eye as a British person to watch our friends (our family) to speak such words. Australia and Canada (and New Zealand!) are by far our closest friends. Trust 'em 100%. What a shared and magnificent history and culture we share.

This is why the CANZUK project is so important!
We are route independent nations, all mature with clear, distinct identities and diverse strengths, but we are still FAMILY, with common values, culture, history and common law! We share a common language, and common Head of State.
Surely it’s time we moved to ensure the family is brought closer together again, as the World shrinks and distances become less and less relevant.
Whatever the ebb and flow of national politics may bring, our Parliaments should remember that we, the Peoples of these nations, will always have far more in common with each other than with any other nation, and we will always have a duty to support and defend each other.

@55yaya5 it's amazing how competent leadership feels like a novelty these days. I think, as a society, Western countries need to start educating children on the importance of democracy, critical thinking and responsible voting.

@fd6944 I completely agree. These things are very important things that have been missing in our education systems for far too long. We need to teach our children HOW to think, not what to think. Ethics, debating, teaching kids how to teach themselves - more important now than any time in our global history in my opinion.

Then on to France and the Netherlands to visit the places where Canadian soldiers fought and to pay my deepest respects to their last resting places. p.s. Thank you for not only for Our King [to]but to your fellow countrymen for having our backs as we will always have yours. May God Bless
