He was so damn pure for this f*cking world and he deserved so much better. He deserved a good life or at least a good death with a proper story line. He defeated so many powerful things and he ended up dying with…
We (dean girls) all deserved to see a good/proper ending for our favorite character. I spent 15 years following this show and I'm so disappointed because my favorite character didn’t get what he deserved, he deserved a happy ending. I always wanted a happy ending for him with Lisa and Ben or sth like that. He deserved to have a perfect lil family for himself where he can feel safe, happy and WANTED.
In these 15 years of being dean girl, I cried with him, I laughed with him and I learned from him, etc. I'm so disappointed with this show but I'm not sorry that I met a perfect character (thanks to Jensen who played Dean so damn good and I'm always grateful). I deeply care for this awesome character and it broke me to see an awful ending for him.
Also, I feel bad for Jensen because he loves Dean more than any of us /all of us. He lived as Dean for 15 years and I know how hard it is for him to say goodbye to this beloved character and it is even harder to do it without a proper goodbye. He was not happy about the ending too and it was not fair because he was the one who played this character for so many years and he didn’t get to decide the right ending for Dean. There were no other options for him and it's so unfair. The writers were like this is what u get so take it or leave it!!! I mean come on this how they should behave?! So damn childish. Even though he was not happy about the ending he played his role professionally as always so a big THANKS to JENSEN ACKLES. We will never forget this character and we appreciate how you put everything u had to make a perfect character who will stay with us (in our hearts/ in our minds) forever.
I'm hoping that in his other projects cast/crew show him the respect that he deserves.

Amazing edit! Thank you for reminding that how much he fought for the things he loved. Seeing all these scenes in one place really shows how much Dean had been through. How much guilt he carried.
I'm devastated. The final broke me in a way I thought a TV show never would or could. Dean Winchester, the man who saved the world with his brother, the man who sacrificed himself for love over and over again, deserved better than getting stabbed in the back by a rusty rebar. To see whole character development he had in the later seasons, thrown into the trash like that was heart breaking. He was finally beginning to see his worth and he died like that? He deserved peace, not just in heaven, in earth too. He deserved to grow old with Sam, to have a happy life. He deserved to meet his nephew, to have a family of his own. I still love Supernatural and I'll cherish it till the end of my days but I will also forever pretend that final didn't happen. Please excuse me while I collect the pieces of my heart from the floor.
