last year, when i was told I needed surgery to help my leg, i couldn't stop crying. surgery was the last thing i wanted. but, on the way home from the doctor's. i listened to this bhajan. i had to toughen up. i took my guru with me to the hospital on the day of surgery. i clutched the picture of yogi bapa, pramukh swami, and mahant swami. and it turned out sucessful. i am forever thankful to this bhajan and my guru. thank you and jay swaminarayan.

This kirtan and this knowledge prevented me from getting into depression.
I am VERY VERY sure that I would have gone into depression without this knowledge.
It helps to keep me sane thinking that in the end life is all about giving up.
When there is a lot of imitation of peers and their influence, thinking that I have had Darshan of PSM makes me grateful for life and gives the courage to NOT follow peers.
I closed my eyes, tuned everything and everyone out. Nothing mattered but Maharaj and Swami, the goosebumps will never fade.

This is the kirtan gives us an power to make please to Maharaj & Swami. Once in yuvak sabha santo told about this kirtan this was written by Brahmanand Swami with agna of maharaj to a satsangi who was a soldier under a king and that king's minister was against maharaj so forcefully he gave him alcohol but and that satsangi was depressed during that time maharaj told Brahmanand Swami to write this and send it to that haribhakta
Yeah, his name was Rupabhai Darbar. He was fired from his job 3-4 times and even was compelled to leave his home.

We just love this bhajan and this composition so much that it has become our ‘family bhajan’. We listen to it loud while singing along in chorus during our car trips, when we need a samjan or introspection boost, and even when we are so happy and want to just stay immersed in the prapti no kef!
When I have excessive Rajoguna, I can increase Satvik Guna by listening to this kirtan.
