I love those raised beds you guys made
There was such beautiful light coming in the kitchen window as you were preparing the potatoes. These are the simple joys of life. Twice baked potatoes looked delicious. A good recipe for the freezer too. Loved your plants. I don't have "green fingers".......I never have any success with growing things, but yet I love a pretty garden.

We call them jacket potatoes in the UK ,must admit they are my favourite and a hit with the family,we don't take the potatoes out of the skin ,we add things into the jacket,,loved your fried rice,love to you and your family ❤️ God bless 🙏 ( I pray you have a bit of rain soon)

I always enjoy your videos so much! Your garden is thriving and I love how tall your planting boxes are. So many I see are just a bit too low to be truly comfortable - and I’m not tall! 😄
I watch my poor hydrangeas struggle every summer, too. They’re big bushes and look beautiful in the morning, all bright and refreshed. By noon, or just after, they start to wilt and by the full force if the sun around 4, they look as limp as dishrags! Once the sun cooks off just a bit, though, by 8 they’re looking pretty good again. And through all of this, they’ve got huge flower heads that manage to hang in there for weeks. I seldom water them, actually. It just seems to be how they are and we get fast thunderstorms - lots of thunder and a quick shower - fairly often in the evenings in NC, so it’s enough.
Your fried rice looked delicious as did your twice baked potatoes. I haven’t had them in a long time, but they were one of my father’s favorites, minus the bacon, when I was growing up. My husband never cared for them (impossible, right?!), so I seldom made them. Now you’ve got me thinking I need to fix myself some. Goodbye keto! 😂

What a fabulous day. The food looks amazing - I used to make fried rice for my son taking to work, I had forgotten about that lol. I think I will have to make the twice baked potatoes, they look yummy. Like you I will need to go and tend my hydrangeas today. Getting my back garden done in the next month and looking forward to sitting down with my cool drinks or morning coffee. Have a great and blessed week.

Hi Amy, Thanks for the helpful tip for scooping potatoes make twice-baked potatoes as well and never occurred to me to use my cookie scoop. Your garden is coming along nicely. My garden is too. I walk out just about every day and I notice my peppers are growing and had a few. We enjoyed the fresh lettuce we harvested and plan to plant more come cooler weather for Fall to enjoy. I thought getting the plants foliage was bad it scorches the leaves
It does. Causes a magnifying effect and magnifies the sun rays. Plants do not drink thru their leaves, only their roots. They absorb sunlight thru their leaves. The only benefit to watering the leaves might be if you do it in the evenings to cool the plant. But her garden looks great. 😍
