Never heard of a toilet for Ostomates here in the UK. Japan is well ahead of us and they treat their public toilets with a lot more respect. Thank you for this one
@@T1M6 We have, or had 7 in my town, all are now closed due to vandalism and lack of council money to repair them, but they were minging when they were open. Sad reflection on our society 😞
I can't believe how nice and clean these toilets are. Here in America, the least nicest one there is still by far, far better than any public toilet here. Even nicer than many indoor and restaurant toilets for that matter.
I am a wheelchair user and I absolutely love that you showed all the accessible toilet spaces!! Thank you! In my part of Canada, more and more public bathroom spaces are being redesigned with the same concept as all of these. A general public area and large, individual unisex rooms. In fact, my care facility has completely renovated their public washrooms to have the same concept!

A toilet tour in Tokyo - that sounds like fun ! In any other country, this comment would be very sarcastic, but in Japan, I do really mean it. Public toilets in Japan are a joy. Always clean, free to use and available almost every where. As a woman who needs to use a toilet quite often, I very much appreciate that. In winter, posh toilets even have a heated toilet seat, so that you can warm up 🙂. P.S. Are you from Hiroshima prefecture ? And does ITSUKA mean something ?
What a crazy idea. I'd be interested in something like that too. But there are no beautifully designed public toilets like that here. My highlight was the sphere.

As a disabled person, I like all the accessible features. Often times the accessible toilet is the worst of the bunch in public toilets. Or there isn't any!

最近の公衆トイレって、どこも綺麗になりましたよね。
先日行って貰った、ガタガタのある須磨浦公園も、奥側に新たなトイレを開設して、ベタなトイレですが凄く綺麗ですよ。
昔は、汚く臭く治安含めて酷かったですわ。
綺麗にしていれば深層心理に働いて、悪さされるリスクも少ないみたいですし。
東京ならではですね！
潤ってる街は、こういった所にも余裕が出て、目が行き、手を掛けれるんやと思います。
公共事業は、どこの街も己の利権絡みでなく、大きい目で生活民に合った事を、やって欲しいもんです。
