    Low estrogen symptoms:
    • Hot flashes
    • Thinning hair
    • Breast atrophy
    • Vaginal dryness
    • Depression
    • Bladder UTIs
    • Loss of collagen
    What to do for low estrogen levels:
    1. Cholesterol-you do not want to do a low-fat diet. You want to do the ketogenic diet, which is a higher fat diet.
    2. Boron
    3. Herbal remedies (black cohosh, fennel, wild yam, Pueraria mirifica)
    4. Fasting and a low-carb diet
    5. Vitamin E
    6. Adjust your stress levels (lower stress)
    7. Adjust your exercise (make sure you’re not overtraining)
    Thank you Dr Berg!

      Same as here

    • @KrisVComm
      @KrisVComm 3 года назад +115

      Don't be overwhelmed. Data overload can lead to stress. Simply start by removing the sugars, grains, and bad seed oils. Make the diet simple with only a few different keto meals while you transition fully into keto. As you eliminate the sugars, fructose, wheats and grains, know that this is the most important thing. next step is closing your two meals together until they are roughly six hours apart. Move breakfast toward lunch, one step at a time. Move dinner toward 6:00p one step at a time and eliminate snacking. If that is too hard, it is because you lack sufficient fats. Most people starting out are freaked out by fats and are quite certain they will cause heart disease. Don't worry.
      adding some coconut oil or butter or avocado will help. Don't yet worry about the estrogen. Eating cruciferous coupled with the fasting you are doing will do a lot to resolve those issues. Make sure your meals include cruciferous veg. Cruciferous has a lot of DIMs. These are natural estrogen and testosterone regulators.
      After you have removed the carbs and closed the gap on the meals, just relax a month or so as you adapt to your new dietary routine. Focus on learning how to make new recipes and let your body rest. Settling the nerves, so to speak, will allow your body to readjust cortisol levels. Work on relaxation techniques and trust the process. Removing toxins (carbs) is the most important thing you can do. Let your body heal and don't rush it. When you do eat, don't set caloric restrictions. Simply think of each food ingredient as your new medicine and let it do it's work. In my experience, natural remedies take about 6 weeks before you begin to see their effects. Estrogen will regulate as your food becomes healthy and high fat. Maintain salt, magnesium and potassium levels as Dr. Berg says and your body will do a lot of healing.

      I put estrogen bioidentical cream on my scalp, and the hair loss stopped the next day! I don't know if it was only that, but I know my estrogen is low, and other than hair loss, I don't have any of the other symptoms. Before, I just had to touch my hair, and I'd pull out. I also started getting sun every day it was out in the past month... I didn't see the sun for 2 years and kept myself in the dark bedroom for work all day. Now, I need it to start growing back. I did add flaxseeds so many I got sick from them, so now I'll just have them as I feel like, and I drink babies milk goat instead of normal milk in my chocolate milk, as when I went carnivore instead of it making my hair fall better it made it worse so I think my T3 hormone needed the sugar back in, so this helps with that. I also quit coffee over 8 weeks ago, but that estrogen cream on my scalp and its loss just completely stopped. Like from 100+ hairs a day, maybe 200 or even more, so lucky to be 20. I was amazed.

    I found out I had Stage 2 invasive ductal carinoma in 2020. It is the slowest growing breast cancer. My little 17 year old teacup chichuachua Abbey alerted me to my breast cancer. She laid her tiny head across my left breast. I said is something wrong with Mama. Abbey cried tears. I knew. I had bottle fed her since she was four weeks old. Never saw her cry. I lost my Abbey a couple of weeks later. She saved my life. I was tired and had no energy. Only sign I had was Abbey and a dent. Where she laid her head on the side was a large dent. My surgeon told me that I had this cancer for a long time. From 5-13 years. I went into menopause at 38 years old. I am now 59. Five surgeries later, seven lymph nodes removed with four of them cancer. Also went through 14 out of 16 chemo treatments in between my surgeries. Had three blood transfusions. Also blood clot in my right leg. Was told blood clots are 50% higher chance with cancer. My surgeon told me it was a huge red flag to go into menopause that early. My other doctors never said a word. He also told me that my breast cancer was caused by my body producing too much estrogen. Does this make any sense? My Oncologist told me I needed to take Letrozole for ten years. She switched it taking Letrozole 2.5 mg to five years. It is supposed to help my estrogen to keep the cancer from coming back. Joint and bone pain is awful. Is there another way to fix this naturally? Please ladies get your yearly mammograms. Thank you for all of your videos! You are a true blessing Dr Berg! 🕊💐

    • @KrisVComm
      @KrisVComm 3 года назад +3

      @A S I balanced your position by saying that women need to show men love. You see, many people focus on others first. This is especially true with women since they tend toward self righteousness. Any solid counselor will tell you that each person should first see in themselves the root causes for their troubles. Women are responsible for their cortisol levels. Men are responsible for theirs. Everyone needs to show everyone love. The fact you singled out a particular gender's responsibility shows forth a bias. You say things both explicitly and implicitly. It is like when someone says "Black lives matter" and then someone responds "All lives matter!". Then the former gets upset. It is not that the point is negated. It is that the first point is incomplete and implicity portrays a bias which is unhelpful. You immediate reaction to the cortisol problem with women was that men need to be held responsible to love women so that their cortisol levels stay within a healthy range. It is tacitly biased and frankly doesn't belong in the discussion as a singular note unless you include that women also need to love men. The cortisol problem affects both genders and so your comment, if not balanced, implies bias. Whether you choose to acknowledge this or not...that is on you.

    • @KrisVComm
      @KrisVComm 3 года назад +1

      @A S impossible. Emotions should always be subordinate to thought. That’s why the head is placed above the heart. That’s why we are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. So that when people respond with emotions we can correct it with rational thought. Only reactive persons mitigate against rational thought. Thinking exposes errors and allows correction. When people say things and they are looked at closely, those people often defend rather than thoughtfully retract. I stand by everything I have said thus far in the exchanges. Your comment was both sexist and dismissive of personal responsibility. Both are female traits - failure to take criticism and personal responsibility coupled with self-righteousness. Men are responsible for their behaviors. Likewise, women are for theirs. Everyone ought to show love and nobody should tolerate error. Let each look to themselves to do what they ought to do and blame only themselves for their shortcomings and failures. In this way, we can truly grow as we ought.
      Should men love women? Sure, just as women should love men. However, “love” has different meanings to people and this is where troubles begin. Women often believe men should love as women love - in the same manner. Likewise, men sometimes believe women should love in the same manner as they love.
      Furthermore, women self-righteously believe (and wrongly so) that they love more or in deeper capacity then men. Such women are blind to their own faults and shortcomings and this is another example of self-righteousness.
      Each should not blame the other for failures. Let each consider their own shortcomings and focus on that. Your words were to blame shift responsibility regardless of how you try to defend. Men are not responsible for women’s issues anymore than women are for men’s. The fact you chose to interject gender into the topic displays your misandry

    Isn’t estrogen dominance due to low progesterone? Because progesterone is a precursor for estrogen? So the body “robs” the low progesterone to make estrogen and it creates an imbalance thereby?
    Correct me if I’m wrong...

    • @KrisVComm
      @KrisVComm 3 года назад +2

      That is true but does not take into account many factors. There are other things such as aromatase which become problematic as they begin converting androgens to estrogen once levels get out of whack. Estrogen imbalances for most (but not all) begin with a toxic diet. These things are more problematic as we age (due to accumulated damages brought on typically by diet, stress, lack of sleep, trauma events, sometimes birth of a child, etc.) First things first, start with foods which we were designed to eat and removal of toxins. Then you can observe where your new baseline is and go from there.

    If your sore from training and don't recover well it is because you are in a negative nitrogen balance. Try arginine and increase protein. Women are 4-12x;s more sensitive to testosterone than men, but they need a little bit to be healthy as a base for their estrogen. For men it is just the opposite to be healthy. These two hormones work synergistically, and men who completely shut down all estrogen, do not make gains in the gym. Pro bodybuilders will take a Testosterone base small amount to convert to estrogen if their steroids are blocking estrogen. Just a small amount of estrogen is necessary for protein synthesis. That's why they stack testosterone with steroids.

      There is no bad estrogen! Estradiol, which is the most active estrogen in the female body before menopause, keeps us healthy! It keeps our cortisol levels stable which regulates blood pressure, it maintains good insulin sensitivity which regulates blood sugar and prevents visceral fat accumulation! It maintains a healthy balance between calcium and potassium which keeps our bones strong! It promotes good muscle protein synthesis which maintains muscle mass in the legs! It balances the vaginas pH, preventing infections! It maintains a strong absorption of nutrients from food which promotes healthy vitamin levels, keeping our skin, hair and nails healthy and strong! It protects us from heart disease, strokes and dementia! It does so much! Without estrogen, our entire health suffers, especially if there's an increase in androgenic hormones such as testosterone following the decline in estrogen, which is very common!

    • @haylslouise8428

      That isn't an estrogen body no, it's an androgen body, which is a larger upper body (apple shape) with fat mostly stored around the abdomen, but the majority of that fat will be visceral fat, which is caused by elevated insulin levels due to high testosterone activity, which occurs due to lowered estrogen levels! Estrogenic obesity is high amounts of subcutaneous fat that sits around the hips, thighs and buttocks (pear shape).

      Estrogen is always higher in the beginning when you’re going through perimenopause because you lose progesterone rather quickly. Both balance each other out. That’s why so many women are “estrogen dominant” in perimenopause, but as time goes on, estrogen plummets leaving you with low estrogen. Your body still makes estrogen from your adrenal glands and fat, but it’s still low. I’m post menopausal, and my estrogen is undetectable now. You’re really only estrogen dominant in perimenopause when your progesterone plummets first.
