Whatever he was like before the filming of the show shouldn’t be used as evidence or reasoning for his actions, especially when it’s all made on an assumption. The show gives us more than enough context to tell us that se-yeon really liked ji-woo on a very strong level. In fact his breakdown is the proof of his feelings. Anyone in his situation would have the same reaction sooner or later
i just want to say yerin has also said in a live that they left out a lot of her and jimin's footage. They broken up as a couple but they are not over, they continue to meet up and go on dates as they have said its all about timing.

I feel like the most interesting things about this show is the non scripted reality,...which nobody comments about Ie: - se yeon the handsome guy lost interest in this reality show when he started training for ping pong ,... and that affected his acting... and his real life connection to ji woo. It looks like in real life, beyond the script, ji woo the cute girl, actually likes only this guy , se yeon, who genuinely was attracted to ji woo but lost all interest when it was time to focus on ping pong
