      Appreciate it! I’m excited to finish one! I’m hoping to really get into it and get good so when I retire in 8/7 years I can do it as a side gig. Figure by then if I ain’t good enough I’ll know it to do something else 😂

    Can you do this in multiple sittings or do you recommend the whole skinning, defleshing, washing portion all in one sitting

      Excellent question. The answer is the freezer is the safe space. You could do 1 step then freeze then the next step then freeze big thing is I ice block mine some don’t but some do ether way some people don’t have the time to do the all of this in 1 sitting so find what works for you just remember the freezer is the safe space and if you ice block it you never have to worry about freezer burn

    How do you thaw the bird out before you mount it? Would you just let it sit out for days or heat it up somehow

    • @DuckalopeOutdoors
      @DuckalopeOutdoors  6 дней назад

      Just set it out around 14-18 hours prior to wanting to skin I have my house set for 70 degrees . I wouldn’t heat it up

      True! I’m doing it as a hobby now if I kill a hybrid or wild like that then yeah leave it to a pro but I’m hoping after a few years doing this I’ll be able to trust my self by that point
