I loved watching timber sports as a kid but for some reason they didn't show it anymore on the local sports channels on TV. It combines strength, dexterity and technique in one sport and you didn't need some huge playing field. Just a raw, physical contest

Nope. Local contest and the notches are already set. Regulation makes you mimic the notch swings otherwise it's not an ascent and you lose.
