When springbok rams fight they try to hook and then break or injure the leg of their opponent, and that is also the reason for the unique shape of their horns. Love your show and to see you hunt in my home country.
Great video. We Hunted with Huntershill and Jaco (and Jack) June 2018. He is a great guy. Those little springbok are treaty to get close to. So I have to go back in 2020 to finish my slam. Need the White and Black . Keep enjoying you time in the out doors Regards.
I love springbok they are great cool beautiful animals and you killed one of all the kinds and i think they just are are awesome so congrats on your hunt a hunt I will never be able to go on so nice job Keith and thank you for showing me legends ranch even tho i can not go this year and i hope i can hunt hogs where said hunt them for my birthday
Grand slam 4 great shots on all good job; again great shooting. Keith you obviously got that scope and rifle perfectly tuned together. Lots of practice that's the key.
Wow! YEah! As I was watching, I had the question: could the air rifle you shot the Cape buffalo with have been used to hunt for the springboks? What would that hunt have needed? Keep up the great work!
Good question! It definitely could have been, but I would not have been able to make as far of a shot as I could with my rifle. Thanks for the comment!
(I know this comment is 3 years old so sorry about that) But have you ever considered hunting out of state? Or even in africa? Believe it or not hunting in Africa is relatively inexpensive compared to hunting in the western US for elk or other such game
Strictly speaking the grand slam does not consist of four different spring buck species. It's a single species that has different coloration found in them as a results of genetic variability. The black for example is subjected to melanism while the white spring buck actually has albinism.
Did Yako just called you as BIG PAPA DUSTY during the black buck hunt... it might be a good name ... since u like big caliber guns... thanks for the video
The animals you hunt in Africa require bigger calibers, like a 300 win mag. I can't afford to bring an arsenal over there and this did the trick just fine. I've never understood the word "overkill". Isn't dead, dead?
I feel like a .300 win mag is overkill for a 50 pound animal, I understand the long distances you have to shoot in south africa but a .270 could do that range just as easily
Nothing wrong with it, it's a flat shooting cartridge and we use it a lot on springbokand other game here. Unlike Americans we aren't pissies when it comes to recoil
@@zajagter2888 It’s got nothing to do with recoil and everything to do with ballistics. Us American’s shoot 50 bmg’s all day long. But not on dog sized game lol.
@@jaredwhite489 a 20 pound gun with a massive muzzle brake that's chambered in 50bmg tends to really not kick that much. But back to the point, there isn't such thing as overkill because dead is dead. Why would you bring a 243 all the way to Africa just to shoot Springbuck, rather take a 300 Win Mag and be able to kill everything up to an Eland. Why do you Americans think that everything should be done with the smallest cartridge possible?
Liked the video. Thanks for not playing the normal irritating music found in most other hunting videos! The footage is really good
I agree. Music is key to a good show. The traditional African drums are just too much!

My favorite hunter of all time thanks for all you do for us hunters Mr. Keith Warren and Mrs.Mattie
I've met Dylan a few times, great guy and excellent PH. You can't go wrong hunting with him.
Great shooting I did the Springbok Grandslam 2 years ago at Hunters Hill one of the best hunting trips I’ve had hope to be there again next year
Did you make it back to Africa as planned? I hope you had a great hunt.
he really wanted that hug 🤗 1:45

That’s such a high powered rifle so such a small animal😂
Thanks for the great content Keith!

Great video as always Keith!! Wish I could hunt more but hunting here in Hawaii is pretty limited. God Bless

You are very underrated. You have amazing content
If I ever get to go to hunters hill for springbok slam I am going to be using a 6.5 creedmore that can shoot up to a mile
Guuuaaaauuuu exelente disparo.vien pegado saludos ds de colombia.oscar cruz
Dog gone this guy makes good videos.

tiaan stroebel the white is not an albino as it doesn’t have pink eyes. I’m not sure how the Springboks genetics work it could be leuthistic.
Loved the video you will enjoy it too
You should do a hunt with Tim wells
Big/little fun! LOL!
Cool channel
Cool
Did Yako just called you as BIG PAPA DUSTY during the black buck hunt... it might be a good name ... since u like big caliber guns... thanks for the video
lddtyrone yes he did
The tuft of hair smells like honey
@Keith Warren Why are you using that shoulder cannon for springbok? Just dust off that Savage .270 win.
Aaron maybe he just really likes that gun. Now to me with the size of those animal he could of used
a .243 or smaller
I dont think Savage is the sponsor anymore sadly.

Didn't you take the Savage .270 win to take larger game in Africa just a few years ago. And it did just fine, with less recoil.
he just said use the gun where you are comfartable with
Don't you think the 300 win mag is just a little bit to big for spring buck?......lol
Why does it matter? There are so many calibers to choose, and would work.
No. It died just fine, didn't it?
Definatly
You must go and do an impala slam at nahla safaris
I call the black springbok black brown
300th like :)
So is the white Ike you killed albino or luecistic, or is it common for spring buck to be white or black
If you ever shoot a springbok you neeed to smell the fur on the back closer to the rump, it smells like cotton candy
I feel like a .300 win mag is overkill for a 50 pound animal, I understand the long distances you have to shoot in south africa but a .270 could do that range just as easily
Can't go wrong with Nosler bullets
How many of these animals do they cull every year.?
What kind of tripod are you using
i am from sa
Privileged to be apart of it thanks
Nice video.. can’t let the anti gunners come for us Keith
They are desperate for their NWO and the 2A is a thorn in its side.
want more BMG hunt vids
300 win mag is way too big. You could use a 22-250 or a 223 to kill a springbok
I agree sir. But it's all on pleasing the sponsor that set you up with it and pays you as a tv host.
Dood is dood.
My dad did this in 1 day it’s fast hunting
Hunting kudus
closer to deer species or closer to goat species?
Look more like the goat kind.
About the size of a sheep.
Deer
Sheep, goat and antelope belong to Bovidae. Deer belong to Cervidae
lol Magnumitis, could've easily done it with 30-06 or .270 win
So?
Stupid question but does PH mean?
Professional Hunter

Thanks now I know what your talking about
Is that a Christiansen arms rifle
I wish I could hunt with you
I shot one too last year😂😂
Bloody
Lots of time talking, ads ? If you have plenty time, watch

Why do hunt soo much? And do feel bad dor all the animals you killed and didn't really eat?
Charlie Vang he hunts because it’s a way of life for him, and he eats what he kills
What's wrong with hunting a lot, all the money goes towards the conservation of the game
