People hate on it to much, its quite helpful against brutal mineflayers on high waves of cyber grind and can pretty much do the same thing as the jackhammer without cooldown (hitstop high damage) you just gotta be good at aiming it.

I put it in C tier because I knew it wasn't bad but I had no experience with it. After trying out some New tech that was linked in the Video and its Description. I now Would Easily move it up to at least B tier. It is not as useful in Speedrunning. but its Cybergrind Damage output is Bonkers!

I think you should have approached it by asking the following: "Looking at speedrun categories with no weapon restrictions, how often does the weapon show up?" By that metric, alt marksman is F-tier because it never shows up while default piercer and sharpshooter are present in at least in New Game category. Core eject shotgun should be a bit higher as core eject boosts are done fairly commonly. Pump-charge shotgun is also used commonly to do overpump boosts. Alt core eject and alternate pump-charge also never show up while alternate sawed-on is a default for speedrunners. Attractor and overheat nailguns, outside of new game category, show up only in select levels so they're not F-tier. I think malicious railcannon should be high tier as it's constantly used in nukes and ultraboosts. Perhaps it's the most used railcannon variant, especially in early levels. I'd put screwdriver in D tier but only because it's used in 7-3 and P-2 at the moment. But that's about it.
While this was not the Tierlist I was trying to make, I think that this is also a Cool idea! For this tierlist I gave tons more Weight to Cybergrind Effectiveness compared to Speedrunning Usefulness because only like 1% of people speedrun the game. But you are right, Things like the Core Eject and Malrails move up a ton in a Speedrun Tierlist.
hear me out on the alt jumpstart, it’s really good for traps. see, if you lay your magnets at a flat enough angle, you can actually deploy the jumpstart cable onto the magnets which keeps it from the floor, increasing your firing speed even though you’re not attatched to any enemy.

Im glad you admitted that blue jackhammer can be good if you know how to use it, but I beg you to give it a chance. Sure core boosting and core sniping are better for speedruns, but the blue jackhammer lets you spam nukes without the red rail, which is invaluable in cybergrind. if you shoot out a core while riding a rocket, you can shoot the rocket hitscan into the core with jackhammer, creating a nuke. This is one of my favorite techs in the game and its soooo underrated. Other than that I agree with everything, srs should be higher IMO but b-tier is valid
Yeah, I just saw a video the other day just as I was finishing editing this video of new Tech for the Blue jackhammer, I even put text mentioning it. And after I found that out I tried out Triple Jackhammer, and man it is Something! I never considered before that Core boosting is basically free Malrail on like a 3 second cooldown. not to mention being able to do 3 red Jackhammer hits in a row is Bonkers! As I said in the video, I put it in C tier only because I don't have much Experience with it. But now that I do have a bit, its AT LEAST top of B tier if not into A tier.
The screwdriver has a tech where you can combine it with a full hit stop from a jackhammer and punching it on the same frame and it will do about 23.5-27 damage which is very good for high health single targets. I use it all the time and its a pretty busted combo.
Since the screwdriver can pin a mindflayer (stop it from teleporting), then full hit stop it with an overpumped jackhammer and punch the screwdriver at the same frame. The tech does around 32 damage and will insta-kill swordsmachines, ferrymen, and mindflayers especially in brutal difficulty.
As someone who mainly does cybergrind, I'd move up all the jackhammers into SS tier without any hesitation lol. I agree that they're lacking compared to the regular shotgun in level speedruns cuz of the chargeup and recoil, but in the open space of cg it's a LOT more destructive if you know what youre doing Ngl jumpstart is probably like mid S or high A tier for me. For conduction, electric railcannon is a lot easier and faster to pull off instantly if you just use one overheat nailgun barrage on a cerberus or smt then throw coins up. Also alt marksman does have its niche, although default is more versatile usually. The main place it does better than default is single target damage, since if you hit a splitshot it does 5 damage to a single enemy, and if chained with a coinpunch it can do like 10 damage instantly. I tend to switch between both variations, and they both perform well, so the gap between the two isn't THAT wide

The hardest part is that in Cybergrind the Alt Core eject is Great but in Speedrunning it's bad to Meh, and Vice Versa for the Default Core eject. I agree the Usefulness of the Blue rail in the Cybergrind is way less than in Speedrunning. But the Railcannons potential damage with coins is so goddamn high that I bump it up to S tier because of it.
Screwdriver is nice for new to intermediate players who are having trouble getring damage on Mindflayers, Gabriel, and V2. The consistent blood splatter for healing and the fact that it stays on the enemy is good for both an avoidant and aggressive approach. It falls off once you can more consistently hit Gabriel and V2 and have faster ways of killing all three. I think the drill could be given more niches, like maybe bonus damage against demons and the ability to ignore Hideous Mass armour?
(top 150 brutal cb) SRS cannon underrated. I always shoot the ball for a big yellow 5 damage explosion. Mal rail also underrated, sometimes you just don't have time for anything fancy, and so when all enemies follow you into an edge, just use it. Other than that, I highly agree with you tierlist.
I forgot to mention the damage of the SRS Explosion! But yeah it can be pretty handy having such a large explosion with decent damage. I don't think it would move it out of B tier, but that is definitely a big bonus.
Alt marksman is just like the normal one but much more skill is needed but higher reward but i still respect that you put normal marksman on ss and alt on d (i think when posting this i would get death threat) Joke about the death threat (hopefully)

There is a trick that takes a good load of health off the Flesh Prisons with the "slarpshooter". Punch a coin, throw another one and shoot the coin with the spinning "slarpshooter". It deals unfair damage because it bounces inside the prison.
I may be miss understanding the criteria for your decision but wtf are you putting core eject in B??? It deserves a high A or low S at least... it deals pretty good damage, has insane combo potential, theres ultra boosting, core nukes, can also detonate frozen rockets when exploded with a revolver or railgun shot for insane damage (see asunders brutal P-2 p-rank run, for how this can be useful) etc EDIT: ALSO THERES REGULAR CORE BOOSTS! Side -> core for a explosive boosted dive, wich is useful in the 1-4 speedrun, cerberus speedrun, etc. It also is more consistent in terms of leaving you with above 50 hp so you can ultraboost again withought needing to heal up

I could see it being moved up because of the Movement. But I thought that because it relies on the Core eject for its utility, that they should be in the same Spot.
I didn't say that the Alt Marksman was the Worst Weapon. To be honest the Default Piercer is Probably the Worst Weapon in the game. Doesn't mean that the Alt Marksman gets moved up to C tier.

Yeah the SRS cannon is Decent Burst Damage, and its explosion is bigger and lasts longer than others. But thats about it. It doesn't mix with its Primary Fire like the Freeze Frame (rocket riding) and the Firestarter (less than the Freeze frame, but it at least sets the oil on Fire).
@@Antidisestablismentarianism The reason the srs is so much better than something like green rail is because srs does not limit your playstyle by using any resources. It is a free, instant one shot for some of the most annoying enemies in the game, and it trivalizes inssurectionists. Yes it has practically 0 synergy, but who cares?

@@nitrocool2.0-1 I have 700 and have been to wave 90 on brutal and I do not think that is worth the sacrifice. Splitshots are better, and you don't risk the cooldown if you miss the spark. Like anti said in the vid by itself it would be great if default weren't just the better option. And I do like alt marksman especially for bosses

its damage increases every second it's active, and you can punch it out for decent damage. I wouldn't have beaten Sissy and Minos if it weren't for it
