@ajl8615 all of the symptoms you mention can be present if there is a deficiency of Magnesium . Your blood calcium can be fine and even elevated yet with inadequate Mg (and Manganese) the cells cannot utilize the calcium. AND in that Mg deficiency is much more commen than Calcium deficiency a Mg supplement can help relieve cramps , itch etc. I take a small Calcium occasionally but Mg several times daily and have relieved all the symptoms.
I love your videos. They do frustrate me from the standpoint that I live in a city not far from you, I think your approach is very likely to be what I need, but I cannot afford any non-medicare medical costs. However, i am very grateful for the valuable information learned from your videos. They are so very well and clearly presented. Highly professional. Thank you.
From foods is best, you can bank on that. Calcium itself is important and required, just excessive doses in the blood (supplements) is not good. Especially since many are deficient in VitK and D too, so calcium remains in arteries because of unhealthy diet and too much indoor time
Hi, take K2 whenever you take calcium, take K2 with high dosage and also don't forget D3 unless you have sunbathe in the early morning and when sunset. Cord liver oil capsules contain D3. That's how people take daily after a meal. Calcium carbonate (most used ingredients) requires acidic tummy to digest and absorb, so make sure you take after meal and with a glass of diluted organic apple cedar vinegar.
@@ajl8615 Yes, good info & thoroughly researched. E.g. rickets a disease of calcium deficiency in Europe decades ago was causing badly distorted bones due to lack of vit. D (3). Vit D subsequently added to milk ~ most cows then pasture fed so vit. K2 from greens also facilitated deposition of calcium to bones and not blood. Good health. No junk food, its driving with one foot on accelerator and t'other on the brake pedal.
Big question. I have neuropathy. Some days better than others. But why does my leg suddenly go numb. It happens when I'm walking or just standing at my counter. It lasts for 5 to 10 minutes and goes away. Iam taking CoQ10 NAC Magnesium vitamin D . I do red light therapy twice a day.. I also have stretches once a day.. The other thing is almost like clockwork every 2 months my right foot swells to about twice the size. My rheumatologist, because I have arthritis also, prescribed prednisone when this occurs. The swelling goes down within two days and doesn't come back for a month or two I'm not sure what's going on there but it would be nice to have a clue to what I can do to prevent it I get a massage once a month I go to the chiropractor choice a month I think I've run out of things to do please help
Have you tried myofascial release therapy. I developed neuropathy in groin due to tight psoas muscle from car accident and fascia release is helping me. Also, try PEMF therapy
B1?? It can cause miniature versions of dry beriberi (neuropathy is one sign) and wet beriberi (edema, even slight heart failure)... among dozens of other things
Not advice, just what I've seen on RUclips recently. Good quality Sea Salt suppose to be the richest in the minerals we need, it supposedly helps with swollen feet. I also take Prednisone, but I've just learnt about Prednislone (with a L), apparently it doesn't need your liver to make it work, while Prednisone supposed to be no good for your liver. Something to talk to your Dr about.
Well thank you for the video. Have had neuropathy for the past 7 months. I'll heed to your advise and check on vitamin D/ calcium. Since nothing else seems to be wrong with me from scans, to sugal level and vitamin tests. Only thing that's law is phosphate and creatinine. I admit i have been a poor eater but that is changing now. I love your chanel
I have a nerve issue I'm trying to beat, and all the doctors I've seen have no clue what is causing it. Cold, or cool air causes me to cramp severely with a lot of pain. Yesterday I was riding my motorcycle in Mexico, and the temperature was in the low to mid seventies. My hands started cramping and drawing up. I was wearing summer gloves, a mixture of fabric and leather. I am currently taking magnesium, ginko, lions mane, omega 3, NAC, choline, d3, c, and.... 🤔 What could be causing these cramps? Oh, ya, I'm a geezer over 60. Thanks.
There can also be a problem with calcium excretion. I'm not sure about all the factors in this, but I think high amounts of sodium causes and increase in calcium excretion through urine.
I learned this while suffering from covid my foot would turn sideways and when I took cal. My foot would straighting out and it stops my leg cramps I always take D3 with a 100 micrograms of k2 with cal.
@@shelley4417 I use the brand Kal that is sold on Amazon. It's probably similar to what they feed plants but this one is assuredly made for people. As she said in the video, consuming bone is an ideal way to get calcium.
you should have b12 injections. I have had ataxia symptoms when I was at my worst. I am checked every year with brain and spinal MRI to see if I have increased brain lesions and maybe MS.
I have read that vitamin D gets calcium into blood and vitamin K moves the calcium into the bones and teeth. I wonder if vitamin K supplies the nerves with calcium. It is known that calcification of the arteries occurs in those who do not receive enough vitamin K in their diet, the calcium is not transported to where it needs to go and is deposited in the tissues. To K or not to K, that is the question.
Apple cidar vinegar and D3 help get Calcium from the food to the blood, and K2 helps get it to the bones. The body will distribute Calcium as needed. You don't want extra Calcium floating in the blood vessels to begin clots and going into the soft tissue and joints. Had to get of NEXIUM too. Most acid indigestion gone.
Isn't Hypercalcemia caused BY TOO MUCH calcium IN the body? I specifically have a problem with calcium deposits appearing on my dentures. My Denturist informed me that the white calcium deposits are from Hypercalcemia. Is this erroneous information?
Hypercalcemia means "too much calcium." Issue is co-factors to get calcium where it needs to go. Magnesium and vitamins D3, K2 and A are those cofactors. Too much calcium in bloodstream can mean not enough co-factors.
@stephanygates6491 ... I am already "aware" of what hypercalcemia is. However, that does not answer my question. I have been taking Vit D3/K2 and Magnesium for over 14 years now. But, thanks for trying to provide some "insight."
The Thorne Calcium-Magnesium Malate you recommended is only 100mg per capsule, so are you are saying to take 15 of those per day? That doesn't seem right.
@mettejensen8653 actually, K is not as important. Helpful but magnesium is more likely to be deficient because of how much it is utilized in the the calcium utilization on a cellular level. Your blood calcium levels will be mostly kept on mark by magnesium but k2/k1 are a great icing on the cake . (K can thicken blood so be moderate in supplemental doses)

I finished that book 2 weeks ago and I can say that is amazing book. Would also recommend it.
finished reading it a few days ago. you can see why it was censored by just reading the first chapter. this industry is truly scary
that book turned everything around for me
the problem is WHERE to find it 🙂
I always read and hear about how bad calcium supplementation is for us. I honestly dont know what to believe anymore.

How do we make sure the calcium goes to where it belongs and not to your arteries causing issues there

Really ? Can you provide the research proving this please ?
Vit D escorts calcium in, K2 escorts calcium to bones, vitamin A escorts calcium to kidneys for excretion.

I thought i saw somewhere that vitamin D supplements need K2, Zinc and Magnesium supplements too as they all work together.
You should always take K2 along with your vitamin D and yes you are correct, you should also take magnesium and zinc.

K2
Does taking MK7 which supposedly keeps calcium out of soft tissue like blood vessels and into the bones also keep calcium from reaching our nerves?
Good question.
Vit K2 is how the body moves calcium to where it's needed, nerves included.
