I have a couple of colourised 1oz silver coins. But I fuzzy logically put them in a different "arty" category to silver. Some pieces look nice but I see it as a kind of adulteration because it's not 999 or 9999 pure (from a refiners perspective)
@@Yourtimeisnow-GG try to look up one for resale. You will receive less than spot. It's not a big deal if the coin is going to get you spot anyway. For example, here in Texas, I will never get anything more than spot for Britannia's, Krugerrands, and Philharmonics, so colorizing those, not a big deal as they will be sent to the smelter upon sale. But a Maple Leaf or an Eagle will get you $1-$3 over spot. That is, unless they are damaged. Colorizing is considered damage in numismatics. It's fine to get a couple for show, but just beware the resale value will drop, for certain. Call around and ask how much the dealers will pay for a colorized vs non-colorized coin.... Just looking out for the masses...

Highly, highly advise against stacking colorized coins. But, to each his own.
