The song "The Will of God" launched the gospel career of her daughter Kierra "Kiki" Sheard, who won her first Stellar award on the strength of her vocal performance. Update so when I wrote this comment I was so filled with dispare & unaware of my future or if I would fulfill my purpose. And those lyrics gave me so much solace and comfort. I love the riffs and runs but it’s the message that matter.
When they said “prison walls” I heard the Lord remind me of the work I am now doing to support those who are marginalized and God reminded me of this moment and that He was writing my story then and now.

I love all the Clarks. They remain, in spite of all their amazing accomplishments, seemingly the most likeable of all the Gospel Greats!!! I honestly feel that they are the real deal, not because of their amazing feats but the way they interact with real people. And that seems to go for Kierra as well. A lot of these other folks should take note of that.

There are different styles to singing than gospel scream singing (not a bad thing) even fantasia doesn't have a connected head voice to depend on of needed, they may sing in such a style that people (in general who don't understand pedagogy) think is most impressive but in actuality, singing with controlled dynamics is a lot more difficult than belting
With all due respect, this has nothing to do with Ms Beyoncé- these women sing to the Lord the All Mighty.
