I'd say: A) didn't need to be B) didn't need to fly C) needn't have paid D) didn't have to bring As a matter of fact, I am sure only about (C); with reference to the other, I still have some doubts: what would you suggest? Are both options possible in A, B and D? Are there any differences in meaning? Thanks a lot in advance!

Need never = no tiene porqué Need hardly = no hace falta Need only = tiene que If need be = si hace falta. Needn't have = no hacía falta, ( para tercera persona ) Didn't need = no hacía falta ( para primera persona ) Gracias profesor, sabes que en Colombia no enseñan esto en las academias ? Holaa, me gusta la explicación pero me quedó una duda, en la forma interrogativa, significa o expresa el mismo mensaje si uso need como un verbo común o como un modal? O sea, -Need you do it now? -Do you need to do it now? ¿Se pueden usar ambas de manera intercambiable?:), gracias!
Super bien explicado el video aunque me quede con una duda y pensé qu en este video lo explicarías y es que en algunos textos he visto que usan Need en pasado sin usar el auxiliar osea en vez de decir "Did not need" dicen "Needed" me gustaría saber sobre eso, lo explicaras en los otros usos que tiene Need?

La traducción de todos es verlo, saberlo, averiguarlo; pero por qué solo con SEE si se usa el IT al final. Gracias de antemano
Es muy buena pregunta y yo también me lo pregunté cuando empezaba a estudiar inglés. Hay ciertos verbos como know, find out, try, etc que se puede omitir el ''it'', y muchas veces para ellos suena incluso mejor sin el ''it''. If I had known... si lo hubiera sabido... en nuestro idioma decimos ''lo'' pero en inglés omitimos el ''it''. :)

El verbo auxiliar need en que tiempo está y si tiene significado cual es
