There have been many sketchy sketches over the years, including Buck Henry was putting in an appearance as "Uncle" Buck, America's favorite pedophile or Mike Myers getting into a tub with a half-naked young Macaulay Culkin doing fart jokes. Swallowing someone's spot-out whiskey is rather mild by comparison.

I'm sorry you list your mom, but it's awesome that you recognized your dad for doing double duty. When my son was growing up, he never made a big deal about Mother's Day, by the always gave me a card for Father's Day, because he recognized that I was going above and beyond to try to fill the role of a father too.
I've been trying to find a video of the Mother's Day episode when Molly had her dad on in place of mom, and Maya had her dad by her side similarly. But I haven't been able to find it yet. Hope I can.

Her young adult cousin and Molly and Mary's younger sister died in the accident. Their father was horrifically injured (miraculously survived), while Molly and her older sister had a broken arm and concussion. They were traumatized, of course, by that night and the subsequent events, over many years.

I was a fan since SNL's inaugural episode in 1975, but I stopped watching in 2013. It's far more funny when the political barbs poke both parties but the 2024 election triggered them too badly. SNL is just THE VIEW with slightly better writing.
