How do you turn the steam on, can not find a switch for it.
Hi John,
Have you filled the water tank container and installed the filter cartridge?
The manual will be able to help you get started.
Once it is set up and the press is switched on, wait for the press to heat up (180 degrees or so), and turn on the steam button. The steam should then emit once you pull the handle down, when it is half an inch or so from the plate. The boost button also provides extra steam. We also recommend that you use the Linen setting, which will ensure that it heats up fully. Best of luck!

The 101HD press (manufactured by us under our Speedypress brand) is very different press to the Commercial Dry press by FastPress. The problem with these damn awesome things is storage. I don't understand why someone hasn't come up with a vertical storage solution for them yet. You could even integrate it into the side of a wardrobe or something attached to one panel and let it swing out to horizontal when needed.
