@@seanpuello daaang that’s awesome. I have the key on the way and I was having trouble finding a place to do the cut for me. All the lock smiths I could find are mobile and wanted to charge me over $100. So I found one place for $60.
@@stay4theride the place I went to claimed that because it wasn't their key, they couldn't charge me. But wow! I mean.. 100 is still cheaper than Toyotas price 🤣 and 60 is better than 100 🤷🏻♂️lol
I brought the old OEM toyota key-fob with me, and they just copied the pattern onto the new one. They didn't take it apart or anything. The process took literally 5 minutes tops.

It was some place called "Batteries Plus" out in suncity Florida. They cut the key at no charge!

When you went to get it cut did you just bring the broken up old key fob and we’re they able to cut it with the new key in the new key fob?
