    That was great buddy! That's how I clean them too then wrap them in foil and cook them on the grill!

    How do you efficiently pull out the bones?

      After you cook the trout lay it on its side and take a fork and stick it into the line running down the middle of the fish between the back and belly. starting at the head work towards the tail and gently flake the meat to the back as you travel down the line and then do the same as you flake it off the bone towards the belly. Repeat on the other side. Then you should be able to grab the spine by where the head was and lift the skeleton out of the meat and you should have all the bones making a complete skeleton.       You definitely have to be careful. The key is short back and forth strokes of the knife not a long push like I said in the video.
