It's meant to give them an opportunity to demonstrate their ability, not give them an easy song anyone can sing. They need to pick a song that they can use to judge and tell which person was better at singing what types of songs so of course the weaker singers will sound bad and the more talented ones will sound good. That's how you can actually judge their abilities. If they all sang well then you wouldn't be able to tell who's better at what.

Siyeon was amazing and a few of the other girl too but the harmonies were terrible and the perf sounds so messy and not as emotional as it should have? This is 100% why it SHOULD be used in competition. You need a difficult song if you want to be able to tell which singers are actually capable of singing them. A competition isn't meant to make all the contestants look good. That's a performance, not a competition. Using a song like this let's the judges tell exactly who has strong singing skills and who is weak in what area based on who struggles and who thrives. That's the whole purpose after all.

Siyeon (my queen(STAN DREAMCATCHER)) and the girls in 0:47 and 1:06 were the only good ones. Some girls were okay. But others weren’t too great. Like the girls in 1:38 was screaming as if she’s screaming the song at her boyfriend and the girl at 1:19 was good until at 2:13, she was yelling instead of belting :( The performance was a disaster but also not a disaster.

They should’ve chosen a different song majority of the girls weren’t even in key. Since it’s been 3 years I’m sure they’ve all improved a lot since then :) the performance was disappointing in general tho
The beginning was not in tune. None of them are really strong singers. The harmonies are off. They're pushing. The ones with lower tessituras shouldn't be belting that high because they're screaming. I went into this not looking for mistakes but they have a ways to go.

I was looking for decent 'Singing Got Better' covers and stumbled upon this and all i can say is this is a sabotaged performance. I'm pretty sure most of them can sing better but they had to choose a song that only selected members can shine. The harmony is horribly flat, they gave solo moments to the wrong member and gave the other better parts which obviously makes them shine. This is not a performance, this is a clown circus. Whoever arranged the parts for them is definetely trying to humiliate other members.
