As a romanian I am very happy to see that we aren't in our nightmare years anymore. I am super excited to see what my country can really do in the qualifiers and maybe in the World Cup!
Same it's great to see them finally performing up to their standards. Now they have to keep their momentum going in their qualifying group and they can finally make it in 2026
Ive watched and followed romania for years and yes they are doing much better then the past 10 years however this will be the ultimate test as they have not really faced top teams in league C. In the euros they only beat ukraine who was super under preforming, tied slovakia and lost to both belgium and holland. Lets see what they can do in this group!
@@endlessdanger True, but you have to keep in mind that at the Euros we had a super weak manager whose only claim to fame is that he's the son of a famous Romanian manager (Anghel Iordanescu). Things are totally different now since we have Mircea Lucescu as manager, widely regarded as one of the best football managers of all time (interestingly, Spalletti referred to him as the best football manager at one point).
@@adriancucu1068 lets see what they can do. Romania got very lucky with the group draws, any pot 2 team would have loved to be in that group. Yes Austria is doing amazing at the moment but they arnt England, Germany Spain etc. bosnia is doing horrible even though they did tie holland in nations league, cyprus and San Marino should be easy wins. But again its hard to guess what will happen because romania under lucescu only played teams like cyprus kosovo and Lithuania and they had a couple of games that they did struggle with. Bosnia and Austria are both stronger then any of those teams so it will be interesting to see how they perform. I would honestly say Romania and bosnia will battle for 2nd place. I dont see either topping austria especially having watched austria in the nations league.
Havent watched yet, but i already know Scotland will be underrated, even though our last 3 results were a draw with Portugal, win over Croatia and win over Poland.
North America maybe, Asia no. AFC football is better than commonly assumed in Europe, Iran and Saudi Arabia have done respectably well in recent World Cups. Iran beat Wales in last World Cup, and Saudi Arabia beat Argentina!

Brazil has been a little bit disappointing I think the president of Brazil football confederation said that players like vini raphina etc maybe will be removed from the national team because he said they give more for their clubs so they want to stick with players who don’t play for a big club (Maybe that’s why)

Croatia are so overrated lol, how can you put them alongside England, Spain, France etc.? Also they only have like 3 players from top clubs. And yet you put them above Belgium, Poland, Switzerland and Denmark. This has been a really poor year for Croatia, and they don't have much potential for the future.
Their draw is kind. They're likely to lose to France, so they'll end up in Group L, and their main opponents will be Czechia and Montenegro, which they have enough quality to get past

Croatia's quality isn't so great that they're nearly certain to qualify. Definitely not S tier in my opinion.
