  • Tamra Jonak wanted to march in D.C. but couldn’t make the long journey. So she and her 72-year-old sister planned to march themselves, just the two of them, down the sidewalks of their town. Then a friend got wind and wanted to join them. So the sisters created a Facebook page, altered their march name to “People’s March” and ordered T-shirts.

I talked about your march with several people as I marched in Omaha! They were so proud that even a small town in NE represented!

    Dear Senator Feinstein:
    ruclips.net/video/OicmgqxWjn4/видео.html
This video comes from a march in a very small town in the middle of nowhere in Nebraska (it's literally 50 miles to the nearest Walmart) - about 100 to 150 people showed up for this event - the town only has about 1000 people to begin with and is VERY much a Republican area. Quite frankly, I'm surprised someone had a gay pride flag...let alone two...I'm pretty sure the Walmart doesn't sell them.
I grew up about 15 miles from where this march took place and knowing the intolerance of the area, I really applaud the people brave enough to march. I didn't partake in this (as I myself marched in Omaha - by the way, I'm a male moderate Libertarian who hates Fascism and lived in San Diego previously) march - all credit for this video goes to a woman named Steph Gallaway facebook.com/skgallaway.
