Thank you so much, Shaun. It was amazing and such clarity from yourself. We love London, my wife and I, and realize just how much we missed. Thanks again...the 45 minutes flew by.
I did this on Sunday and its a great way to get out of the busy London streets for a bit but still see the great views. I did the walk from the London eye up to past Tower Bridge then got the boat back, thanks for the walk recommendation in a previous vlog! I've lived in London nearly two years and haven't done any of these things. The vlogs are great to someone like me who needs to know exactly what to expect before going anywhere. Thank you Shawn!
I remember doing a London River Thames boat cruise during the London 2012 Olympics and whilst we were moving alongside Victoria Embankment, we saw the Women’s Marathon runners run past! Best day of my life and best time to be alive in my opinion!!
Loved it. Amazing that a building that is hundreds of years old, not only still stands, but stand in the shadow of concrete and glass giants. I can't WAIT to see where you take us next in London!
Thanks for the video. You are absolutely right about all the changes. Visited London about 10 years ago and its amazing how many new buildings went up in that time. Also like the frequent uploads on "AdventureShawn". Your unique experience as a themepark vlogger makes this channel very different than other travel channels. Like how in-depth they are and not just general impressions.
Nice to see the Prospect of Whitby pub around the 20:45 mark. A few minutes walk from Wapping station. Well worth a visit for the brilliant river views, time it near a hightide and you wont be disappointed.
I’m going to London as a leavers trip in July and we’re going for a river cruise, had never been on the Thames before so I’m quite excited! Your videos are very relaxing and calm! I subscribed :)
I missed the mi 6 building from the james bond movies. Its very nice, but i like the old london much more. The old criminal storys from edgar wallace and the old stuff. Thanks for this ride on the themse. Like your films and hope you are in good power. See you.
Great video! I haven't been to London for 10yrs or so. Looking forward to taking my children in the summer ... covid dependent! A river cruise is on our list 😊 xx
At 45:28 you can see the Grape public house, I believe this pub is still owned by Sir Ian Mckellen, ie the actor who played Gandalf and many other movie charators. I was told he lives in the property that you can see very close by with the gold human looking statue!
17:40 And if you look to your right, you’ll see my mums flat at Providence Square on the site of the old Spillers dog biscuit factory. The flat was purchased in 2002 for £365,000 and currently estimated at just over £YouveGotToBeKiddingMe! My mum can often be seen on her balcony on the fifth floor, watering her plants and drinking tea.
I always wanted to ride on the thames river, it felt like if l were there in person. Now l dont have to travel all the way to London to see the thames, lol. Thank you.
Shawn, I recently found your channel. I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I must say you deserve more subscribers and views. I’ve really enjoyed watching the way you capture images on film and apply live narration. This makes your videos very interesting to watch mate. You’d make a great tv commentator for the likes of the London marathon or the Tour de France. Look forward to the video on the Belfast warship. Come to no anytime. You’ll be most welcome.KiaOra, Paramedic Steve.
I used to go to London alot when I younger I loved it. Tho some parts r not that easy as I'm disabled I have cerebral palsy and I can't do stairs or walk loads but I had a wheelchair at the time x
wow i've never been to london it looks like a spectacular city !! the way you present your videos is top notch shawn !! i absolutely love your adventureshawn channel!!
As a new subscriber to your channel, can I just say that I thorouhly enjoyed watching this 😊😊 Looking forward to seeing what else you have installed for your followers.
. Fantastic video¡¡¡ thank you. I loved the big super skyscrapers in Canary Wharf, they are amazing. your video camera quality is great'¡¡¡ it would be great a video of the tower of London, and another of the city with the new skyscrapers under construction, specially the 22 bishopgate , will be the biggest in UK, I think, amazing tower¡¡¡ I am sure you would get a great video if you walk over there. Congratulations for your videos, they are magnificent and your comments fantastic, too. congratulations again :-) best regards
interesting vlog :) One thing that strikes me watching the river cruise; no private boats ("leisure boats" etc). So weird. You'll have a hard time to find any stretch of water her in Norway with out (private) boats.
Great video, but I think the first part, Westminster to The Tower of London offers the better option for a short boat trip .. there's more to see. Not too sure about the comfort of the seats you are on though Regards from Whitley Bay
What did you have for lunch in Greenwich?? I bet you didn’t have Pie, Mash and liquor..... mmmmmm Another excellent video, the river cruises are great, did one a few years ago and then went up The Shard
Nice view from Thames u should visit older pub in old mite tavern good place nice pint or like pie mash licker in London place hope have nice time it change for u
Oh how I miss London. This was a lovely trip down memory lane. I have been on 2 river trips. One going west to Hampton Court and one going east to Greenwich. Different years. My favourite city ever. ❤️
Some of the boats on the thames tours do not have an automatic guide system. so you may have a commentry of what you pass in some boats, but not in others. However, if you want to find out about the history of certain sights you pass on the thames, and the boat your on doesn't have an audio commentary, There is an app called thames clippers. I know it's available on the app store for the iphone, and i won't be too supprised if it's available on the amdroid play store as well. next time your back in London and you want to doo the tour again, download the app and give it a go.
The boat looks empty ..in SUMMER they are FULL with LONG QUEUES...I recently took a boat to GREENWICH (JULY 2022) A nice trip but the commentary was distracting the man really had a curious sense of humour and was negative re Brutalist architecture on South Bank but was very knowledgeable on the many pubs along the route..He also recommended the food market behind FESTIVAL HALL but was totally oblivious to the wonderful classical music concerts at the Hall usually on a daily basis GREENWICH Post COVID is not what it was many shops have closed to be replaced by overpriced cafes..
Thank you so much, Shaun. It was amazing and such clarity from yourself. We love London, my wife and I, and realize just how much we missed. Thanks again...the 45 minutes flew by.

Once you reach East London (past Tower Bridge) you’ll see a lot of apartments and tower blocks. It’s very expensive!

It's well worth doing indeed
Thanks for the trip! Lovely video tour
It seems as if there is no more river commerce as everything has been turned into apartments. Somehow that is sad.
Thanks for the post.

I want you to come over and do a video on the Hoogly. How do I get in touch with you?
December or February to travel to London?
Video was nicely done Shawn with smooth zooming into the places of interest.
What camera were you using and was the zooming done through a gimbal?
how do i pay?

I am curious...is the Thames River named after a person or something else? I have no knowledge on the history...
Nice
what are the prices ?
Amazing futage
As much as I love the river cruises and tours - I find it cheaper and easier to take the thames clippers - although you don't get the information
