Cray fish is plenty in Kenya but we don't eat it bcoz it's food for the chicken, just go to any place they sell local chicken food and you will see it and it's sooo cheap
New subscriber ,i love the apartment. You can get pumpkin leaves in the supermarket. There are also shops that sell west african items.Fish prizes goes with sizes some places much cheaper than that..Enjoy kenya and Karibu
Try to get your food at local food stores/sellers is not going to be expensive as you think. And again you can find palm oil at local stores coz they don’t sell them in supermarkets
The apartment is really beautiful 🤩 I can relate when you said you can't stay without swallow for a week 😂 And I love how you did that oileess okro 😊Nice video👍
Hallelujah, i just saw Omena, fish, prawn all in one pot. And you still added more inside, na kafirifiri kwa wingi( that means with more pepper) culture is really shocking, thank you for sharing. If you buy groceries at the local market, they wont be that expensive ok.

You went into a very expensive supermarket and you are complaining cost of living if you bought those vegetables in the market it would hv costed you half of your money
Spinach for 110 ksh is a crime 😭. That should be 30 ksh maximum. Those vegetable prices are just wrong. Girl you need someone to introduce you to a local mama mboga (vegetables lady) or a local market. The markets may not be fancy but its cheap. I am honestly stressed on your behalf.
At this rate am sure if i come to Naigeria ill have a greater culture shock. Like how do you mix omena, tilapia and stripes in the same meal. That am out. Here we are used to coocking one thing at a time. If its stripes its stripe. If its omena it omena. Not mixing everything. Thats like making an atomic bom in the stomach oooh.
The apartment is so beautiful 😍😍. I love the way you improvised to make the food work. It turned out really nice
