With the previous Far Cry games, you just kill all the enemies or liberated camps and only a message appears and you get some XP. But with this music and the cutscenes it gives you, you FEEL that you've truly liberated the region/outpost and saved people.

If you have a playstation most of em are on sale now. Not 6 though. New Dawn's cheaper, I haven't played it yet, its 80% off or something. If you want a digital copy of 5, 3 and new dawn you could get them with all their dlc for 32 dollars.
In Faiths region you can always hear a certain melancholy, a certain tranquility that fits her super sad backstory. It's nice that the "liberation" theme is the stark contrast to that, it's a pretty merry piece that starts of melancholic but goes into a piece of music that you'd expect some hobbits to dance to, really merry and uplifting. And that the liberation themes are so short makes them even better, a full piece would be ruined just by the length of it. The fact that the themes are so short is what makes you WANT to free more outposts.
I truly love this game so much because it reminds me of home so much even though it is fictional in Montana it is still the same kind of environment I live in the development team really did their home work
Absolutely loved this game. Made me appreciate how different the US is from region to region as well. It’s easy for a foreigner like me to think of US as either California or New York. It’s so much more than that. Love it.

I would agree with you...but for me the only downside to it is the endings (which I really did not like), and a bit more on the character customization ( you know like eyes or something). Apart from that Far cry 5 is good and fun, but just below the marker of top 5 fav games for me...number 6.
This game should have had more outposts. The level design in them was way more interesting than FC3 and they felt like unique locations and not just waypoints.

There's one outpost, I think it was in Faiths where it zoomed on a dead cow and then it turned alive and started walking, that was my favorite cutscene
What made these cutscenes even better is that they're rendered in real-time. That means if you liberated the outpost during the night, the cutscene will play during the night as well. It gives you the feeling that they're actually there with you (which they are).

It's ridiculous the amount of music they didn't release. Like they never released the version of "The World's on Fire" from the announcement trailer.
