    0:32 - What a terrible opening sequence here, ditching their virtual set opening and just having a zoom out of the real set. It just showed how "virtual" this set was, as they was no flexibility in views, compared to the ITV News set of 2004 onwards where theirs was real proper green screen virtual set which could take various backgrounds. This just looked cheap, even for 1997.

      Not really "cheap" more how limited the technology of 1993 was. It was capable of amazing graphic design, but flexibility? No.

      Yes, the ITV "theatre of news" green screen set in 2004 was far better, even when ITV News Channel had to move into the stand by virtual studio for when ITV News had to rehearse, it looked reasonable. You remember the 2004 look of ITV News?

      @@johnking5174 I completely disagree with you!! It’s just fine! Nothing wrong with the opening sequence and it was fine for its time!
