    Think for 1 minute guys n gals. Peps had 2 years, 4 months and 5 transfer windows, Klopps had 3 seasons 5 months and 7 transfer windows to get how they are playing. Sarrismo has been going for 3 months and 1/2 a transfer window! Just imagine what Maurizio is going to do for us. We NEED to keep this phylosophy at the Bridge now. None of this swapping and changing of styles to suit the manager. We need to get managers to suit the style. And give Sarri all the support from the boardroom as possible. Contes first season was the best football I have seen us play at times. This season so far beats that IMHO. Tho we do really need to upgrade - ST / RW / and sad to say RB as Dave just seems lost right now and tho it hurts its all about the team and not individual players.

    Current order of the top-3 will likely obtain at the end of the season. I'd like to see us win, but poor intensity with uncharacteristic weakness in the counterpress and frustrating wastefulness in front of goal will mean we improve a great deal defensively but ultimately fall short as denying ManCity requires nigh-on perfection. I hope we at least get back to putting away most of the chances we create. YNWA

      Pietro Pellegri,Nico Barella,Daniele Rugani these are the targets we need as well as in fullback areas we need Alex Telles,Tagliafico and Hysaj to help further bring his style to Chelsea Football Club

    Maurizio Sarri is a genius man with a genius insight. He understands the fun in football. I hope he stays in the club for a really long time.

    Lol what if Sarri doesn't manage to win anything in the next 2 years? I guess all these mediatic exaggerations will be forgotten. And plastic fans will start to call him a "fraud". This is exactly what happened with Conte...I still remember the same mediatic exaggerations: "tactical genius", the legendary "conte's three at the back", "Armani of football"....Then, the 2nd year, everything changed in a few months. The premier league title, the 13 wins in a row, the 30 wins in a season, the "tactical genius" thing..everything forgotten by the media (and by most of the fans too...spastics started to call his tactics "parking the bus"). Is easy to appreciate a manager qualities and to praise him as long he wins. But if Sarri doesn't manage to win something in the next 2 years, we will see what we already saw in the past.

      I do not agree with you. I have massive respect for Conte and what he did with and for Chelsea, but he was the architect of his own downfall last year. The switch from the lethal and offensive 3-4-3 to the impotent and defensive 5-3-2(no it was not 3-5-2 with so little possession we had) was his decision, his spat with our main playmaker from the back(david luiz) was his decision, and the refusal to drop the worst midfielder chelsea have had in the premier league era Bakayoko for most of the season was his decision. Had he avoided just one of these mistakes, we would probably make the top 4 and he would have kept his job. But Chelsea is not, and should not be a club that accepts taking the holding prem champs to a 5th place. if Sarri can maintain steady results, and not let personal conflicts get in the way, i dont see him getting the same treatment.
      Love to hear your response to this, as i dont pretend to know everything, and a discussion is the best way to learn:D

      @@valhall89 i agree 100%. Contes ego was definitely in the way and that is something Sarri doesnt have. I mean getting rid of diego costa? Cmooonnn!

    • @valhall89
      @valhall89 6 лет назад

      @@letstalkfootball8643 To be fair to Conte on the Costa thing, Costa seemed to create that himself and was angling for a move already 6 months prior to the transfer, so im not putting that on him, but the rest is his responsibility.
