While corporate Marvel/Disney won’t say it, the elephant in the room remains: What if Chadwick lived on to become the new so-called “front man” of the entire MCU? In the post End Game era, the MCU hasn’t found anyone who can fill that role so far. 🤞
Interesting fact I noticed, this figure’s based on the physical suit used on set for Civil War that went on to be used in Black Panther. For whatever reason, they changed parts of the suit in post with cgi. The most notable difference being the design of his necklace plus some minor differences in the patterns throughout the suit. Makes me kind of wish the necklace was somehow replaceable so you can have both looks.
Justin, thank you for clearing up the head sculpt silliness. So many, " It's the same head sculpt " drones, including well-known content creators got this wrong. That's why they should wait to have it in-hand before being so critical. Great review as always. Mine will be here soon!!

The civil war suit has is skin tight to an extent, but there’s armor/vibranium padding. Like in the torso. The Shuri suit actually is skin tight as it’s Nano tech with vibranium infused. That’s the canon reason the physiques are different.
I have the original I love it and it will remain one of the key centerpieces of my hot toys collection but this 2.0 looks fantastic. Congrats to those who are getting it
Speaking of Todd McFarlane, I really hope we get that live action Spawn some day so we can get a sixth scale figure of him! Just imagining how crazy it could be is getting me excited. One can dream!

I was considering getting this as a tribute to Chadwick, having seen your review in definitely getting it, I love the ceremonial extras, need to make a display stand for them. And I want to put Captain America's Wakandan shields on him, I know he never used them, he never used the short cape from the comics, but I'd like to try and make one. The Head-sculpts are so different indeed. I feel the new Updated 2.0 Original suit's head-sculpt is better than the energy suit head-sculpt. The 2018 energy head is small, the skin is darker, the ears are smaller, and the beard/moustache combo especially the philtrum part of the lips is shaved doesn't look like T'challa's facial style haha. I give the new head-sculpt two thumbs way up in my opinion.
I have a serious question 🙋🏻♂️ For normal user , is this kind of PU leather suit gonna damage through time because all my friends suffer PU leather auto tear apart/ corrupted in long run …… now they try using Vaseline to rub on the PU leather every few month to last longer …
I missed out on the original civil war suit and the stand alone movie suit. But rn I’m so divided between getting this figure or getting a used one of the stand alone, both look so great. This one looks better tbh but a lot of my collection r endgame/infinity war
