On this World Soil Day (Dec 5th, 2023), I am thrilled to stumble upon this gem of a video. I was a bit taken aback by FAO disabling comments on their video of the day. I am glad I can express here my utmost appreciation of the gift we have as Earthlings to have a planet that has soil, something no other celestial body has (as far we have discovered so far). Let's protect our precious, food-giving resource. It's easy, we just need commitment to do this!
I didn't know South Africa has the oldest soil in the world! Soil is underappreciated indeed, it's important for agriculture, buildings, even purifying water.
For God's sake, the world big medias need to raise awareness of the importance of soil, this is something way bigger than just our tiny generation and the savagery against it must stop!

Who could still deny the existence of God, while knowing these amazing facts about the soil!? The soil could seem a simple substance, but just think, how the same soil can produce plants, trees just from a little seed! These are wonders of God! Praised be God!
