The MIDI music in Perfect Cherry Blossom, Imperishable Night and Phantasmagoria of Flower View were all made for the SC-88Pro, but unlike Embodiment of Scarlet Devil (in EoSD the 88Pro MIDIs are the originals) they were only included as a quick bonus. In other words they wont sound as good as they could. In some cases, the MIDI versions may be based on earlier versions of the WAV tracks.

Well, to get this far, you'd have to be pretty youkai yourself.
This is the Last Word theme.
I wanted it to invoke feelings that deviate from the frame of the story.
I'm not trying for coolness.
I'm not trying for cuteness.
I'm not even trying for creepiness.
But it would be nice if it doesn't put you in a bad mood after listening to it for so long.

ストーリーの枠から外れた感じを出そうとしました。
格好良いようにも見えてそうでもなく。
可愛いようにも見えてそうでもなく。
不気味なように……は見えなく。
ずっと流れていても嫌な気分にならなければ良いんですけどね。
