Gotta say i find some nice pieces of cable in the junkyard from time to time! Once i took a good twenty minutes to pull some nice silver tinned wire, and as i about finish pulling that shit out i see CCA. I just tossed it in the front seat mad with a sunburn on my neck 😂
Since we are talking wiring, I have a question for you. It seems like fusing for cabling is somewhat different depending on where you look. What’s your general rule of thumb for fusing to protect the cable for 4/0, 2/0, 1/0 and #4?
thats problem with younger new people that get into car audio that only have had one system alot of them think just becus there box looks better its louder even know half the time there box is to small or ported way to high you literally have to put them in a car and let them here a real system then they wanna actually look at your system because they dont understand wy your sytem is 4 times louder then they say i thought my system was loud iv probly ran across 20 people in my lifetime in car audio like that since 1990

@@psementalist exactly what I do I run Eb flex under my Tahoe and all sky high on the inside seems to be the best bargain for your buck and does really well
I can't have a opinion on wire lol..I run some bs wire in my personal builds..Usually whatever I have already or the cheapest I can find on amazon..Yes I know better lmao but it is what it is...That's really nice wire your running man!

I found a box of different household stranded wire on trash day that I've used for a year now for various stuff lol
Sometimes with today's prices a little sunburn is worth it.

Depends on alt size and load, plus voltage
