- Illustrating pile handling using Internal Handling Tools, a pile frame (StabFrame) and the MENCK MHU 500T hammer for offshore pile driving.

piles are measured during the whole process. they have a tollerance of usually +- 1 degree. usually tighter. Current offshore wind piles in the north sea are around 25-35 meters in the ground. Offshore oil and gas piles can be more than 120 meters.
You can use steel pipes for bridges but usually they are concrete.
This is just an illustration however the application can be used for conductor piles used for oil and gas exploration or adapting the frame can be used to set pin piles for a jacket foundation in O&G or Wind.
how do they test the piles to make sure they have been installed properly and that they are stable enough to hold the load?
How deep into the earth are these piles?
Is this what they use to make bridges?
is there a recommended minimum frame height to ensure pile stability (after SWP) and versatility ( or defined inclinations ?)
is this the same method used for the skirt piles offshore?
So what is the bit in the seabed used for? Why do they leave it in there?
Richard Watts Pretty sure, it's a leader to ensure that the pile is driven vertically straight down the seabed.
+Richard Watts Its an Anchor called a Pile. They will use this for holding back other installation items. For example, mooring chains/wires to an FPSO. The chains/wire will be connected to the top of the pile.
sir, can we get the copy of this video
with skirt piles you don't need the frame.
thanks a lot, I'm writing my thesis, and it's about this driving method
I'm studying civil engineering
where can I find more info about skirt piles?
if you would be so kind, thanks a lot!!
@mohammed youssry I already finished my career, thanks anyways
U are so late bro. Lmao
