Thank the lord there's an audio book on RUclips of this, my English work is to read oliver twist at home but im dyslexic and it would take me about 5 years to finsh the first chapter!
Ella keep reading! Your brain will develop it's own way to make this process easier for you. Read, read and read. Don't read too slowly, however. One day your dyslexia will no longer be a problem for you.
I feel like I’ve been so saturated with Oliver Twist that to experience the original text is somehow new and fresh. This is been on my list for years and years and I finally have gotten through it. What a ride.
You can feel the love in her reading how blessed I feel listening , the only downside I can't turn it off . Thank You sharing your kindness and good heart
Extraordinary novel. Mil Nicholson is so pleasant to listen to. She has the perfect voice for Dickens' novels. What an incredible voice actor. Thank you, Mil. You make this world a better place.

This is an excellent audio rendition of Oliver Twist. Mil Nicholson does an excellent job reading and acting out the different character's voices. I'm not sure I could've gotten through this book without her!
Wow I was listening to this same book on a different channel and it had an ad every few minutes and the narrator was not very good and I quit because I thought it was a terrible book. Then I just tried this bc I liked the picture. What a difference! This is a really good book!!
Ive always been interested in history, but have been a bit more intregued recently. And as someone who has been wanting to read Oliver Twist but doesnt like to read and cant particularly afford audiable, this came in handy! I love the range of different voices you can do reading character speech! Very talented.
My school is always telling me How amazing Oliver twist is and I decided to finally find out what it is about! If this was a book I would say that I couldn't put it down! ;)
I love your voice and have enjoyed it very much. You'd have been a remarkable voice actress. I very much would like to hear some more of the great audiobooks(such as books by Jennifer Worth) read by an amazing voice of yours.
Mil Nicholson , the reader here, is my FAVORITE audiobook reader. She is also the reader of The Curiosity Shop. Beautifully read. The variety of characters depicted bring the story to life.
I suck at listening to audiobooks. Im a YA reader and want to get into classics but am seriously hesitent. Trief listening to audiobook of A Tale of Two cities ... failed. I was gonna sack this after a minute but foudn myself listening longer by the time i checked.... i dare say im entertained and therefore, despite my intimidation of both classics and Audiobooks, this may just eliminate that fear of both.
I tried A Tale of Two Cities 3 times. I got 3 hours into it each time and could never focus enough to tell what was happening. I watched a few summaries and got upset because it seemed like a solid story.
@@BearWithMeHere1 After reading, A Tale, a few chapters at a time over months as I used it to go to sleep, I've found I couldn't wait to get in bed to get my fix. Not sure how many times I've read the book or listenned to it on audiobook. Like so many other classics I never lose interest in knowing what happens next, even though I know them by heart.
I love the voice of the narrator. Whoever this is should narrate my life. The voice seems a strange exotic voice neither make nor female but somewhere in between
Miserable or laborious? There is a difference. If you like a challenge try War and Peace by Tolstoy , or any of the novels by Dostoevsky. Russians are as long winded as any you will find.
I'm almost finished reading this and how on earth is this considered a children's book? The subject matter is for older children at best, and the language is pretty difficult.

Amazing just amazing! Beautiful work from the Narrator. An excellent read.
I only wish Nancy had a better end, but nonetheless a wonderful conclusion
The narrator is killing it with the voices
Thanks for sharing. This is much easier to listen to than it is to read.
i agree
Its easier to do them both simultaneously. The reading helps you picture in in your head, and the listening helps build character personality.
