The 1975-1987 intro only began to be used on September 1, 1981. News broadcasts would only be in color starting from May 1, 1977 (but the previous logo was used until 1981 nevertheless).

Which video has footage of the intro in 1980? If you're talking about "Yle Tv Uutiset 1980", that is not from 1980, but from January 13, 1986 (as can be seen by skipping to 2:00)..

According to the same linked source, news broadcasts were initially in color only at weekends. It seems the remaining broadcasts were only gradually turned into color ones. According to "Yleisradion vuosikirja 1978-1979" (an annual publication by Yle themselves), eventually only Mondays had news broadcasts in black-and-white, but they too began to be broadcast in color on May 14, 1979, which would hint that the final black-and-white news broadcast was exactly a week prior, on May 7, 1979. Direct quote (page 116):
"Television uutistoiminta siirtyi kertomusvuoden lopulla kokonaan väriin. Maanantaista 14.5.79 lähtien ei enää ole ollut mustavalkoisia maanantaipäiviä, vaan uutiset ovat kaikkina viikonpäivinä väreissä [...]"
The 1981-1982 edition also provides a correction for something I wrote earlier - the intro began to be used not on September 1, but August 17, 1981. (page 35: "Uusi uutisstudio (studio 5) oheistoimintoineen saatiin 17.8.1981 täysimittaisesti käyt­töön. Samalla uudistettiin tv-uutislähetyksen ilme. Uudistus sisälsi tv-uutislähetyksen ra­kenteen, esitystavan, lavasteen, oheismateri­aalin ja uutistunnuksen muokkaamisen ajan vaatimuksia vastaavaksi.")

@@OrangeShellGaming Full color transmissions mean, the color was fully used and not by segments of it and not. Also there's not many footage of it, but thanks for it, i'll be correcting it

Another one; the intro 1992-1994 started to be used on January 1, 1993, and was not used in 1992 at all. The "1992-1994" and "1994-1995" intros also coexisted. One can find uses of the latter from 1993 for example.
