  • This is the maiden flight of a lovely radio control de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth made of balsa and supplied by HobbyKing, whose specifications are listed below. The plane was owned and flown by Mark at Chester le Street flying club.

    Nicely flown and well handled deadstick but what were Hobbyking thinking of with that undercarriage? It looks nothing like a Tiggie U/C.

    Nicely done! I am still waiting to maiden mine. Can you please share the CG of your Moth. Did you have to use any additional weight to get the correct CG?

      CG as per manual (106 to 112mm upper wing) this required additional lead with the engine used) Level flight on half throttle.
