Zisteau+ Make hover pads on the side of your floating craft so that when it goes near a block/starts to slide uncontrollably towards a block, it will push itself away from it and prevent you from crashing. * You did mention that it was too heavy so it may possibly not work *

We need to see some experimentation with the AI cabs. I use them in my own base as fixed turrets that shoot any enemy techs that go near, but they have basic commands like "harvest" and "follow" as well that I've never used much.
does the steering get messed up if you mount the back tires one block (little block/anchor point) lower then the front to tilt your tech just a tad? if it still steers properly that might assist your aiming issue a lil bit

i dont know how you have so much trouble with planes, my scout planes exist for the sole purpose of dropping payload terminals on the map to drop in death tanks and charge ports from space to murder bases and invaders. Also I believe you have gyro stabilizers, please use them, they OP as long as you don't care about stunt flying. Its ok Z one day the devs will actually add the scrap magnet so we can quit hating ourselves every time we kill something big and want to sell it, one day.........

It seems like the devs programmed wingss with actual physics, so that they generate more lift the faster you are going. That means that you could make a plane that is stable with only one or two pairs of wings, and goes very, very fast. Probably like 4 propellers + a lot of boosters with one decent fuel tank. You start up with boosters and then simply keep speed with propeller. Also, I'm kinda sad you didn't choose my battleship idea for the floaty tech. Not because it was mine, but because it was AWESOME xD But with the hoverpads bouncing I guess it's not really viable, the devs need to make hoverpads have better lift when nearer to the ground and worse when farther from the ground, not just 0/1 working or not.
Ever thought of mixing some of those smaller rotating turrets in the corners of your tech in case you get outmaneuvered from using your megaton cannons? That and rear facing cannons, just a couple of them so you get your rear defended. And how viable would the Mammoth be if it got weapons on its side and its cargo hold down the middle. At least its defendable in case of a fight/invasion. And I hope there's going to be caterpillar tracks in this game, a row of tyres without a gap between the front and rear would suffer in terms of turning.

Zisteau I understand wanting to automate it more, as it gets tedious, but that's no excuse for not making mad bank off it. :P I mean, the venture guns alone are what, 1200 BB? That's like an entire stack of wood and sap, or half a stack of ores. The time taken to pick up a few pieces (especially the more expensive pieces) and drop them in a tractor far outweighs the time taken to grind out ores.
You could try making some techs based on animals like a scorpion or octopus or whatever you feel like if you want to experiment with fun/practicality stuff.
+Ljubisa Stjepanovic The big blocks can only be carried by attaching them (or maybe mega silos?), so the best way of carrying them right now is a SMALL vehicle that all the blocks can be mounted UNDER. Just turn the scrap into a big vehicle with extra wheels up top. Or just use a terminal to buy a cab to control the blocks. The real problem is that you need to pick up each block individually and carry them to the trading... thing (they've screwed up the names, so I forget what things are called). At least in 0.5.14, they've allowed you to stack a lot more for sale there.
I haven't played the game myself, but zed, if you place the cannons vertically instead of upright, wont they aim up/down instead of left/right? Keep up the good work!
The Crazy Pineapple Yep. If you copy the images that people tweet into your game folder, those techs show up in the buy list. And deleting the PNGs definitely removes things too.
I think the next logical step is a battlecruiser. Turn your cannon platform upside down and add wings.

the turning booster are good for stunt planes
the bombardment is a bit rear heavy you may wanna make it a bit longer to reduce the recoil to the guns that makes it tilt

Make a navy style landcruiser/landdestroyer/landcorvette that uses broadside cannons in addition to light forwarded turrets and some artillery.
There was an enemy called mangle backet that had most of the varieties.
