I wish you were in my area. I’d pay you to set up my pool Pump. Looking into getting a heater, but it seems like no one knows what they’re doing anymore. Had all new wiring done and had to call another company just to fix what first one did. 😩
It is uncommon to hve a pump that moves the entire volume of the pool every hour. Very small pool. What you need to know is turnover rate. How many times per day do you need to pump the volume of your pool through the filter. The answer is either 3 or 4 turnovers daily. 2 hours is not enough as that is only 3000 gallons of water, but you need at minimum 4200 (1400 x 3) and 5600 (1400 x 4) would be even better.

So how long should I run my pump?
24 hours per day. A few hours at higher speeds. About double that at medium speeds and the rest of the day lower rpm operation.

I sorry i dont understand... If my pool is 1,400 gallons. And I have a 1500 gallon per hour intex pool. Is 2 hours not enough???
