About the frozen spiny glitch: You may not have noticed this, but the spiny after being unfrozen actually slowly moves upward. If it hits the ceiling, it takes a very strange pattern.

I'm pretty sure many of these glitches were in the New Super Mario Bros for DS, so it makes sense if they have some glitch overlap.

At my school they got a wii with just dance
When I played the game with my brother and sister, my sister and I didn't use the "Bubble up" (as we called it) in the normal way. We used it to revolt.
Whenever my bro would do something to make either of us not too happy, via things like, not letting us catch up to pass the goal at the same time, or beating the bosses when we were still re-spawning etc. We'd bubble up, and not come out XD
Looking back on it, it doesn't make too much sense, since we were fighting against him doing things without us, by not being active in the game? idk I was like- 7 or so at the time so I guess my logic skill was low XD
It was really fun, and looking back on it always gives us a laugh so I thought you guys might enjoy the story :3

Hey DPad! I found 2 completely new glitches! Both of them using and ice flower.
The first one I found was in 4-1. It works in any other stage with urchins too. If you freeze an urchin, then stand on the edge of the frozen dude, (before he breaks out) aim Mario in the other direction, freeze and spam ice balls when he breaks out. Note: You will lose your powerup. But if done right he should be frozen forever (unless of course you go off screen) and you can get a couple star coins a lot easier. Ex: the urchin under coin 2 of 4-1.
This next and final glitch is VERY glitchy but hard to pull off. It takes place at 6-3 ( the pipe level). At the third mega piranha plant, I randomly started spamming ice balls at it. Until he froze without breaking right out at first I was like , mk, but then he started slowly rising up and up and up until he was off screen. Nothing happened for about ten seconds until I saw pieces of ice fall from above. I got scared cuz I thought he was gonna come down too but he was gone, long gone. I attempted this again but couldn't get it right. I managed to get him to freeze for like three seconds but the thingy that was moving it up and down broke the ice and he died, rip. Anyways I just wanted to share some of my thoughts on that glitchy ice flower. ಠ_ಠ And it was a super epik video. Let me know if anyone had these same experiences as me. Bye

Me and my sister always used the bubbles to save ourselves from dying rather then like an AFK mechanic or whatever. We like practiced it and everything when we were little, jumping off and bubbling midair before dying
With the floating spiny glitch, if you wait he will slowly but majestically float to the heavens... until he hits the roof and gets confused again

With the Yoshi glitch, if you grab the shell with a fly suit and fly up and ground pound you get 99 lives pretty quick.
My biggest gripe with this game is the lack of bljs.
this is spectacular
this game was already god tier for trolling friends via throwing them off cliffs
but this... its another level entirely

if you spin and ground pound with the propeller suit while holding the shell of an undead koopa from the undead koopa glitch, you will be granted a ton of 1 ups
I actually found a very mild glitch. Normally, the purple fish in some levels can break out after being frozen, but if you spam the ice balls as the fish is breaking out, you can trap it in ice forever
3:16 There's actually an easier and safer way to delay the ending of a boss battle. This one can be done in the final castle in World 2. Just wall-jump between one of the big pipes in the ceiling and the wall, and there you go. No bottomless pits to worry about, just the fury of your friends/siblings! :D

I also remember doing a lot of the other ones too like the bubble flag one and the yoshi glitches
I remember on the wii u the tablet could be used to make blocks in real time in multiplayer, we had so much fun blocking people's jumps and making them fall to their deaths.
There are a couple of glitches that I didn’t even know about. Welp, after all these years, it’s back to the good old Wii to try them out for myself.
I also found a useless glitch that killed my most recent speedrun, at the end in the final Bowser battle, if you p-switch jump far enough to the left off the final button that kills him, you will fall to the platform in there, kill Bowser, sink into the lava and die late.

Dude, I tried to beat bowser as mini mario the entire time and when I hit the switch, my momentum carried me to the right off of the ledge. After bowser died, I was relieved, until I found out that I had gone with him
@@MatthewDavidson03 that sounds terrible, that's exactly what happened to me except I killed myself but it was the same thing that I killed him and then I had gone with him, well at least next time you can just ground pound the switch

I only knew about the spiny glitch in Area 2 with the Yoshi and quicksand and the infinite 1up trick, the rest I cant wait to try
7:28 if you do this glitch and then hold the shell in your hand with a propellor hat, fly up and then propel down, it will spam 1ups during the way down and create a weird noise. it's actually the fastest way to get to 99 lives
You can just see the disappointment on Toad's face for software locking him in a bubble

With the spines in the cave level, if you stay near it, you can see it goes up indefinitely till it hits the roof

You can do the infinite coin glitch solo by jumping off the chain, fire ice, get back on the chain then flip it. Yes it's harder than the multiplayer but it's more satisfying.

I actually did the pipe trap-glitch but a very weird situation: It was one of Lemmy's castles, where there is a star coin where you have to enter a pipe to get to a separate room. In that room, there is a void at the left, a star coin on a platform at the top right and Lemmy's balls coming from the right, trying to push you off, all on an icy floor. The thing is, I was playing with someone else and he bounced on a ball, and reached the star, then, as a joke, I pushed all of Lemmy's balls up on that platform by jumping below them. Then, the balls kept pushing my mate against the wall on that platform and he couldnt move. Finally, he traspassed the wall while crouching animation without the ability to move or jump, and the weirdest was that he was going to the right slowly, like sliding, without moving. He went offscreen and he didnt died, when I returned to the main zone, he was a bubble, like if nothing happened. Very weird

Do you plan on covering glitches in Brawl? I got one for you: as Zelda or the Pokémon trainer if you toss a poke ball up and immediately use the down special the Pokémon summoned will treat you like an opponent fighter

You forgot the Yoshi Momentum Glitch!
When you flutter with Yoshi, you lose tons of momentum in midair. If you let go of the D-Pad when you flutter, you can preserve this momentum.
I remember when I found out you could do the coop ground pound, I would try and do it all the time. It was hard to do

You can do this with somone at thr gole pole and enitiate bubble at same time as p1 but p2 not bubbling to NOT get softlocked -David 2:18

You can also freeze a koopa, grab on to the gate and then hit it and it will do the same thing and give infinite coins
You can do the infinite coin glitch without multiplayer. The timings harder but it is possible
Can you so a video for Mario all-stars for the SNES because there is a glitch in super mario bros. 2 6-1 where if you through the potion at where the two pipes with the snakes are at the side of the second pipe. If the potion bounces of the second pipe and hits the first one the potion will activate but, instead of becoming a door it will become a key. This is pretty precise and I had the easiest time doing it as Luigi.
If anyone has this game can u go to world 8 with 2 players and on the world map go to 8-2 then back to 8-1 then keep pressing left and right (it doesn’t need to be done fast) and see if the second player will float in the air . I don’t know if i discovered a glitch or it’s just on my copy

I accidently pressed to bubble at the same time as touching the flagpole in 3-2 and the screen slid all the way to the start of the level and wont progress. Thats how i found this video looking for the same glitch. Spent 10 minutes getting all the star coins in the level for no reason

My favourite glitches are probably the infinite coins glitch if the yoshi momentum glitch
