- Durante la maniobra de esquiva hemos obtenido un resultado excelente con el Eclipse Cross. El funcionamiento del control de estabilidad es muy preciso, de forma que el conductor tiene una gran sensación de control durante todo el ejercicio.
En el eslalon, no es un vehículo particularmente ágil porque los cambios de apoyo no son inmediatos. Hay modelos como el Peugeot 3008 que tienen un tacto de conducción más directo.
El Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross es un modelo con carrocería de tipo todoterreno cuya silueta puede recordar a la de un cupé por la pronunciada caída del techo a la altura del pilar posterior. Mide 4,41 metros de longitud y, por lo tanto, se sitúa dentro de la gama Mitsubishi entre el ASX (4,36 m de longitud) y el Outlander (4,69 m). Está a la venta desde 23 800 €.
El Eclipse Cross está disponible únicamente con un motor de gasolina turboalimentado de 1,5 litros de cilindrada y 163 CV. A finales de verano de 2018, Mitsubishi añadirá a la gama uno Diesel de 2,2 litros de cilindrada cuya potencia máxima no conocemos con exactitud, pero que estará en torno a 150 CV. Mitsubishi todavía no ha decidido si pondrá a la venta una versión con motor eléctrico, ya sea en variante híbrida o híbrida enchufable. La caja de cambios puede ser manual de seis velocidades o automática -de tipo CVT con el motor de gasolina y de tipo convertidor de par y ocho relaciones con el Diesel-. La tracción es delantera o total permanente.

I can confirm, just changed my 2018 touareg for a 2020 eclipse cross. Touareg was more powerful (V6) but the Mitsubishi feels so much better to drive, more agile, more manageable, corners flat...just a brilliant car

Acabo de probar esta MARAVILLA...... es una pasada!! nada que ver verlo en fotos y demás.....la sensación de comodidad y agilidad del Mitsu es extraordinaria y además el modelo 2019 viene además con led y una mejora de agarre que es como si llevase un 4x4 (sin 4x4) solo es para aplomar más aún en las curvas.. no me acuerdo como se llama ese mecanismo pero aun sin él ya me ha parecido lo mejor que he probado en suv....... vendo el mio y me lo compro sin pestañear...después de probar el Sportage, el Qashqai, el Cx3, el Vitara,el XV y la mierda del Ateca sin duda el mejor es el Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.......ALUCINANTE como va de fino y la potencia que tiene desde revoluciones bajas ya responde 100% .... me ha encantado...y viendo estos videos ayudan a saber que es la mejor opción........un saludo

We love both of our (USA) 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL Touring’s with S-AWC and everything about them. They are fully loaded and come with some amazing features such as the dual pano roof with power shades front and rear, heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, power folding side mirrors, led head and tail lights, sliding and reclining rear seats, dual sone auto climate control, forward collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, auto high beams, lane departure warning with lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot warning, radar cruise control, 3 mode S-AWC (Auto, Snow, Gravel) with each mode being more aggressively programmed, auto dimming rear view mirror with home link, Mitsubishi Connect System with SOS and Call Center buttons in car with access to phone app to remote start car, adjust climate temp in car and turn on defrosters, lock and unlock doors from anywhere, turn lights on and off, set geofencing, car finder, plus tons of personalized settings from how long lights stay on when you exit to how long the back wiper runs to a/c strenth settings and so wo much more. The top trim SEL Touring in the USA is truly loaded.
For 2022 in the USA they have added even more to the top trim and made some good changes. Moved the touchscreen closer to driver on dash and its 8 inches vs 7 inches and more square shaped than longer, removed touch pad controller (I personally liked it I use mine all the time), rearranged parking brake switch and cupholders slightly, made back seats more comfortable by removing the large seat belt buckle storage spots for center seat person, heightened the back rest and removed the odd rear head rest and added normal ones, power passenger seat on top trim, added 5.5 inches of length to the rear and gives it slightly more cargo room (I miss the split rear window look it was the reason we both bought our Eclipse Crosses because they looked so different), new light grey leather option on top trim vs just black now you have a choice, led fog lights on top trim where the fogs were halogen on our top trim 2019 and didn’t match the led headlights, we changed our fog bulbs easily to led to match the headlights, improved the suspension, springs, dampers and rear cross member to improve ride and handling and that is one of my only complaints on our 2019 is the rear suspension can be a lil noisy and harsh over very large impacts other wise its extremely smooth and quiet and most roads, so now it will be even better. There are other things like the new styling and all but mostly this was all. I have seen in some pics it looks like they may have re-named 3 the S-AWC modes but not sure for USA. Anxious for it to release next month here.

En realidad si no fuera por Nissan, este crossover Eclipse Cross no existiera, ni tampoco en sí misma Mitsubishi Motors.
La cual se encontraba en números rojos, por otro lado el haber sido adquirida por Nisaan no lo sólo le dio solvencia economica, también el poder "subirse al tren" de la transición energética al acceder a la tecnología de motricidad eléctrica de Nissan e hibrída de Renault. La misma razón de que Daimler se unio a está alianza franco-nipona.
¿Porque cree que FCA buscaba en 2019 aliarse con Renault-Nissan-Daimler? Incluso estuvo a punto de ser adquirida por VAG, pero finalmente se terminara de fusionar con PSA ha finales de este año.

Just got a 2020 model and it has a factory anti roll bar under the hood. Corners flat, and safe. Made me realize i slow down before corners because I was used to it, not from necessity.

Estaría muy bien un día hacerle este test a un vehículo de competición, tampoco hace falta que sea un coche de máxima categoria, pero por ejemplo alguno que en España sea sencillo de conseguir como un Leon Cup o un Clio Cup. Para ver que resultado obtiene en dichas pruebas.

There is no reason for that, because the test is done whithout any acceleration or braking. So if there is not acceleration, there isn't advantages of the 4WD.
Volumex You are wrong. I don't know if Eclipse Cross has such feature (I believe it has), but modern awd systems are also working off-throttle.

Como comenta algún otro, sería interesante ver la prueba con el modelo Kaiteki, el S-AWC... Creo que es un sistema increible, nunca he conducido nada igual. Mucha gente se equivoca al pensar que es un modelo orientado al "todoterreno", y no es así. Como el Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, está diseñado para la carretera, pero también para hacer sus "pinitos offroad" éso sí. S-AWC es un sistema que no funciona tan bien como todoterreno total, y es que la marca tampoco pensaba en eso: es un sistema (para mí, asombroso) orientado a surcar vías en las que la tracción se ve comprometida, como casos de asfalto con lluvia, nieve, zonas de barro, gravilla etc... En éstas situaciones, condiciones de lluvia, nieve, etc., el sitema S-AWC reacciona de una manera INCREIBLE ante un imprevisto, una entrada en curva muy pasada de velocidad, un volantazo,... En fin, como digo sería interesante ver esta prueba con éste modelo, y desde luego, bajo mi punto de vista, es uno de los vehiculos que ofrece mayor seguridad en la conducción.
PD: Después de probarlo, en el futuro no concibo tener un vehiculo que no tenga al menos la tracción total permanente, como es el caso. Y dicho esto, los futuros coches eléctricos, en ése sentido son interesantes, ya que como los Tesla, ya son concebidos de ésa manera. Me remito a la prueba del mismo Tesla model 3 que obtiene un resultado en esta misma prueba más que óptimo. (Recomiendo la visualización de dicha prueba)

Esos más que buenos resultados con un SUV... Es una pena que en España y Europa está marca no venda modelos del segmento C y D como si lo hace en países asiáticos porque seguro que sacarían resultados más que satisfactorios en este tipo de pruebas.... Me entristece ver cómo una marca histórica con tradición en el mundo de rallys y competición se deja llevar por la moda de los SUVebordillos... ¿Dónde quedan los Lancer, galant, 3000gt, eclipse (original).... ?
E aquí la opinión de un nostálgico de lo que fueron en su día los coches japoneses... Por el momento me quedo con el Lancer que fue el último tipo berlina que vendió la marca en España....

El problema es que se ven obligadas a fabricar estos engendros , ya que la gente por lo general somos muy de moditas ... y si solo tuviesen berlinas y sedanes .. se arruinan. Mira nissan sino llega a ser por el qasqai estaria desaparecida como saab.
Qué pena, en vez de fabricar coches más ligeros y aerodinámicos, hacen estas mierdas porque es lo que la gente demanda. La gente del futuro se descojonará de la gente que compraba estos coches en el pasado. Lo tengo clarísimo.

no lo puedes comparar con un deportivo, es una prueba de seguridad no de agilidad. si te fijas el bmw serie 1 la pasa a 77km/h y aun así sale antes del ultimo tramo de conos entrando a 77 que este entrando a 80.

In racing the exit speed makes you faster not the entry speed. This suv is not fastastic, but it has decent agility. The entering speed in this test is not very relevant. You need to analyze every detail

Humm, this car is really not as good for cornering - CG is too high and car is too narrow for good performances. Plus, rear suspension rebound is impressive. if you find your EclipseCross very good, it's simply because you didn't try another similar SUV in another brand. I feel like my previous Mitsubishi Outlander 2005 was better than my new EclispeCross. I also drive an Acura RDX and a Ford Edge, it's way better than the EclipseCross, but more expensive too.
