Hey angels!!! IT'S FRIDAYYYYY!!!! I'm so hyped for today's video! Diving into plexus more with another training one of you guys sent me! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, stay safe, happy and healthy!!!
I may be wrong but I believe that Plexus is as close to being a religious company as they can be without outright claiming it. I mean, during conferences they'll often talk about God and where God has called them to be and that said calling was Plexus. There are sometimes very Christian themes that get those who are Christian in the audience super riled up. It's very manipulative and equally fucked up.
Her entire “speech” is just Pinterest quotes. “Opinions are like assholes” “you could be the juiciest peach but there someone out there that doesn’t like peaches”. Just one big eyeroll 🙄
How do none of these women ever think it's weird that in this "business meeting" the speaker never once mentioned the name of their product or even referenced what it is or supposedly does.... like that's clearly not normal for real businesses. A legit business does not hold a 30min-1hr long sermon addressing their employees personal beliefs, convictions, and personality traits that in no way reference/impact the product/company - especially with religious attacks sprinkled in - it would be an HR nightmare.
Right?! I would get up and LEAVE a meeting during which I was being screamed at the whole time, while learning not a single useful thing about the business or the products.
At my new 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m job any training is paid. Also if I have to work over the weekend (University Academic setting for grad. student interviews, Program Accreditation, etc.), again, I get paid. So, how is this time freedom that they continue to preach as a MLM benefit....giving up weekend time FOR FREE for this pointless "training session" that has no product-related business/products training whatsoever?!? I was annoyed when the leader/speaker said about the team members getting products, etc. information on their own...looking it up themselves?!? Then, "maybe Friday nights would work better"... Wait, what?!? You as the leader should be providing that information in this supposed TRAINING SESSION. I'd be pissed off at this waste of time of which I am not getting paid and not spending time doing whatever I'd usually be doing on a weekend. Big ugh to this. 🤔🙄
I think about that too!! They will acknowledge someone in the live feed as if they have adoring fans! I started thinking about it because they will often say it the same way as another hun with a different mlm so it seems like it is practiced. 🤔 It would be AWESOME if someone out there has a recording of any of them practicing saying hello to imaginary people! What if the "Hey Girl" started because it was too hard to think up different names on the fly while they're lying! 🤥😄
@11:30 mark, talking about shame. I personally just found the anit-MLM world on RUclips about 2 months ago and I've been obsessed. I was in Young Living from 2017-2019, and I've been SO down on myself ever since I stopped working for them. I thought I failed. I thought I failed myself, my business, my uplines... etc. When I tell you I went down a spiral of depression. And now thankfully, because of the creators like you Isabella, I've been peeling back the layers of deception. I guess I've finally been going through the deprogramming phase of getting the eff out of the cult that I was in. It is disgusting that when you fall into the 99% of people who fail, you get told that it's YOUR fault and you didn't work hard enough, you're just lazy... etc. Disgusting. Thank you for spreading this message and continuing to call out the BS.
The fact that they didn’t once mention a single product or techniques for actually making sales says it all here. Yikes. Also, telling people with insecurities and low self-worth to ‘get over it’ is absolutely disgusting. Some of these people may be suffering with real mental health issues. Telling them to stop being a crybaby and get over it is, potentially, really fucking dangerous.
I can appreciate the part where she talked about failing being an action. And that just bc you fail doesn’t make you a failure. As someone who struggles with perfectionism and self esteem I like that tiny part of her speech.
I really hate hate the phrase “someone has it worse” I’ve heard that far to many with my disability and medical issues I have to constantly face and everyday is so hard and different and the pain I have to endure many would run to the hospital but I don’t look at things in that way because everyone is different and has completely different experiences and my argument I always always use which really shuts them up 100% of every time and I share with you guys in the hope it may help someone is that “yes there are people worse off then me, but there are also a lot of people better off then me too, as I look at both sides to life!” They have nothing back to say trust me if this ever happens to you try it and see what happens lol 🥰🥰🥰
Agree agree agree. I despise hearing it could be worse! And on the flip side, when some family members have a headache or stomach ache they'll say "I shouldn't complain, you deal with this all the time" but I tell them "my pain does not discredit or invalidate your pain" 💕
My mom says that to me about my *Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.* That the shitbag she married *caused.* People will use and abuse that phrase to suit their own selfish goals. It's not about 'whining', it's about accepting reality- something that people who use the phrase don't want to do. They don't want to accept that your experience is legitimate and your emotions matter. They just want to control the narrative and bend you to their will.
I know you mentioned that some ppl complain when you wear glasses when you film because of the glare, but my 2 cents is that you should wear them if you prefer. I just notice that your eyes seem to get dry with the contacts, and I'd personally prefer it if you were comfortable over having to think about a silly aesthetic. You're killing it and doing amazing job, and you should have on whatever you prefer ❤️
I so appreciate your stance on proselytizing. My husband is also a Christian whereas I was raised in both Unitarian Universalism (early childhood) and Christianity (teen years). Now I am just more spiritual and TOTALLY agree with you on being a good person and trying your best! My husband never pushes his religion on anyone, neither does his immediate family. So I really, really appreciate you being a kind human. 💖
The way these girls are so shouty. Like shhh 🤫 You’re not a preacher, girl sit down! I love your content, lovely. I live for these videos! Keep up the good work!
Also, they don’t openly claim to be a Christian company but the girls are very religious. “God blessed us with this opportunity! God moved and lead me to this opportunity and I kept saying no then He opened my eyes,” blah blah blah. Cringy. I’m a Christian and realize this was very predatory when I was recruited.
I sold Pampered Chef from 2008-2010 and thankfully didn't lose much in the business. But I went to monthly trainings like this but we were actually taught valuable things, not all this believe-in-yourself sunshine-and-rainbows, self-help stuff. We were taught how to use the products, how to cook, ways to reduce time in the kitchen, etc. Some of these tips I still use to this day and for that I'm so grateful. Maybe I just had a good upline? Also, this was before we used social media in our businesses, you know, the good old days. LOL! What she's doing isn't OK, and I feel strongly about unqualified and uneducated people selling vitamins.
“You are exactly where you deserve to be.” That is HORRENDOUS. Also, “they don’t hand you a 12 year old when they’re born. There are things you have to master before we can raise a teenager.” Welp, tell people to stop adopting then. This is so sad for people trapped in this mindset. Illogical, inconsistent, discouraging, and you go broke while you believe it all.
I don't know how other people would feel about this but I'd be so fascinated by watching a anti mlm creator helping a person getting out of their mlm in a RUclips video to spread how to get out if their to scared to approach an anti mlm creator idk though 😬🤷🏻♀️
@30:51 then how are these team members supposed to pay their bills?!? Eyes rolling, WTH under my breath. I have worked at my new job (...that MLM "condemned" 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. away from our home type of job.) for one week, and I will be able to pay some bills with that amount earned! 🤔🙄
Okay, one more note: has this mother never heard of fostering or adopting? Plenty of people "start" with an older child or teenager! And changing diapers doesn't actually teach you much of anything about how to relate to a teen. What a shitty shitty thing to say to a group of women. She has no idea who has been able to raise their child from an infant and who hasn't.
Loved this! It’s insane to see the way they manipulate people. The actual potential some of these women could have if they worked with passion towards a true small business of their own instead of this nonsense
No regular job would talk about every one being broken and deliberately focus on people they thought were broken. In fact its the opposite as a regular job would want the 'best' people not those who need therapy.
The Plexus speaker's premise of "telling you, you can't do it" is not even common. No one is telling others that. Things don't work because they don't work.
Hi, me again :D I just commented on a different Plexus video asking if you have ever made a religious-focused MLM marketing tactic. I also wanted to ask you something in case you knew....So there was recently this Plexus convention in Florida and a TON of people went. Someone I knew went and she's like mayyybe a silver at this point? So this trip is super glamorous looking and the Plexus people have really gone all-out. It looks creepy AF and I can only imagine what they actually talked about. But some of them (higher up, like sapphire, my friend's leader or whatever you could say, etc) get this "shopping spree" which of course they price drop and rub it in people's faces that they were just magically GIVEN 2k to spend at Bloomingdale's and post pictures with their shopping bags...Meanwhile there's the person I know...Who maybe makes a few hundred bucks a month doing this. My question for you is - there is no way in hell this trip my friend went on is free, right? Like I'm assuming most of these people are paying and these few people get to have the shopping sprees, etc. And apparently this woman Christina who you're commenting about in this video...Plexus just took her to Paris. For crying out loud people....It's so fucked.
When it comes to religion in business i fully agree it should be separate. Simply talking business, it's better bc you won't be excluding customers that believe in other religions or in no religion therefore more customers
Lol “Failure” is a noun. “To Fail” is an action verb. Not trying to be a grammar nazi but she prepared this whole speech and really should’ve looked that up, especially before adding the “English 101” at the end.
What a WASTE of a FRIDAY night .. oh hell no !! I’m going out and spending my money on Starbucks.. lol they hate when you buy Starbucks.. “that money could go towards a starter pack “ lol 😂
@@gigibythesea1133 I'm in!! We can go to Target and get our Starbucks which is conveniently in the store and buy all the products that you love like diffuser oil, shampoo, face masks, vitamins and protein shakes. Then we can make a video about all the amazing things you found and compare them to the competing mlms!! Want a deep conditioner that makes your hair soft and shiny? Your friend recommended Monet but it is really expensive and you don't want to be in auto pay or start peddling the shit. You gave your monet friend a bottle of your favorite brand at Target and you got her hooked! Hahahaha the video ends with your friends walking away with the new shampoo while the song 🎵 Another one bites the dust 🎼🎶 😎
I could never do this bc I’m not gonna be pushy w someone to buy a product or to join my work. Like I respect people when they say no the first time! I could never Pressure people like that and it’s even worse that they encourage them to do it to their friends and families! That shit ends relationships and they don’t care as long as it makes them some money!
No Plexus does not advertise that it is a Christian organization but that's one of the reasons I left; a bunch of mean, judgemental women using religion as a ruler by which to measure you up.
I think I sent you this one! I know I sent one of hers to you after your last Christina Williams video 🤣 Looooooove this content! One of her videos compares vision casting to MLK, Jr. Also, check out her upline, Brittney Howard. You won't be disappointed or lack content 🤣🤣🤣
The fact that this woman comes out of the gate telling women that they are being doubted and doubting themselves is just priming them to be defensive about what they're doing while also framing her bullshit '"guidance" that comes after as useful. So many empty cliches and bastardized Pinterest quotes!
🙋♀️ Am Christian. Am business owner. Can confirm. You don’t have to be like this or put up with this. There are laws, actually. And we don’t lie to our employees like this chick lied to her team for an entire year about maintaining her rank.
I love these videos !!! I have tried to support friends on and off for years by buying their products even if I'm not wild about the products and even if I know that they are overpriced but seems like it's getting harder and harder because they just want to sell memberships and make me a seller as well!!!!!!
I literally got a message from them last night and was so upset plexus is the company that pushed me into anti mlm after i was told i didnt want a second child if i didnt buy the pink drink. Such a disgusting company.
Normally, I just love to watch you, and I don’t often leave comments. However, just reached that part about “having a conversation” with non believers. That is a MAJOR trigger for me. Don’t come at my faith and religion (or lack thereof). I have been very firm in what I believe for over twenty years. People like this test my non violent nature. Ugh.
It's incredible how they say THE SAME THINGS in every MLM. I was told the same shit when I was part of an MLM, and that was 7 YEARS AGO!!!!!! Ridiculous
As a former plexus gun (circa 2015) I’m always so here for this. This company is TOXIC, like they all are. Lemme know if you have questions 👀 Also I haven’t gotten into this video yet but if you haven’t covered Celeste Gwynn, you need to. She’s the TOP top leader. First person that hit the top rank in the company. She’s trashhhhh
They’re all the worst. I was attacked on Facebook (by up lines/sidelines) for posting a selfie after getting a flu shot when I was in the cult lmao so gross
These training bullshit meetings are just a way of saying "everyone you know hates you, doesn't want you to succeed, including your own self. Follow me and you'll have everything you've dreamed of, here's a bunch of pinterest quotes that I need to scream at you, if you don't sign up for this, you obviously have no drive and want to continue to fail at your 9 to 5 miserable job"
13:40 I feel like a bit of an odd duck because I've NEVER had an experience with any MLM, either by myself or regarding anyone I'm close to. I've received letters from Vector and one of my acquaintances in high school joined Paparazzi (GOD I hope she quit after that debacle), but those were less experience and more happenstance.
She’s saying “I believe in you” and being like SOME PEOPLE HATE THIS. Omg did anyone leave yet? Acting like what she’s saying is so controversial and revolutionary. We’ve heard this babble a million times. Be positive, blah, blah, we all know it. It’s easier said than done.
Isabella, can you do a deep dive into tlc's sister wifes janelle & Christine) promoting this plexus sh*t? They recrute & sell like crazy on instagram, using their their "fame"to recrute😡
Since you always say "hi guys" right at the beginning in every video, I hold the left key on the keyboard before watching the video. Do it, you won't regret it xD
While I appreciate the sentiment, her bit at 36:44 awoke the grammar fascist in me. "Failure" IS a noun. I can say, "I failed sixth grade math." I cannot say, "I failure sixth grade math." You can fail at a task or goal and not think of yourself as a failure, sure, that's an excellent way to look at life. But her "English 1101" lecture is wrong.
That training feels weird asf … 😂😂 I would’ve walked out if I was hearing a motivational speech when I’m waiting to get trained on the product and sales. But hey, issa cult 🤷♀️
The more I watch mlm content I realize how ridiculous these trainings were. What is this training anyone in? I remember thinking these types of trainings were so important, but really these trainings are nothing. It’s crazy!
Ewww. This was so cringe. The way she paused after a statement, acting like she’s a preacher? Who has to listen to this kind of phony self esteem/religious crap at a job??? Horrible!! This is horrible in my opinion. Yes, Isabella- do a deep dive when you have time!
1.) Isn't Plexus a diet/supplement company?? That industry THRIVES on shame! It's their whole currency! "Who told you you weren't good enough??" Oh, I dunno, every company trying to sell diets supplements and makeup and hair care and and and.....Like, lady, you work for a company that purposely makes people feel insecure so they will buy your shit! 2.) Sounds like someone hasn't read the Bible that closely, because I'm pretty sure Jesus kicking the moneylenders out of the temple was a pretty clear condemnation of mixing business with religion. If she actually practiced what she preached and followed EVERYTHING in the Bible, she would never use her religion to make money! (I'm agnostic, but I was raised in the UCC and nerdy enough to read the whole bible. So I hate it when people lecture others about their Favorite Magical Book when they clearly haven't bothered to actually read it!!!)
Religious people absolutely pick and choose what they believe in. That's why from Christianity there is Catholicism, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter days Saints, Jehova's witnesses, Morinism, Baptists, Methodists, Unitarianism, protestants, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Calvinists, Quakers, Episcopalians, La Luz Del Mundo, Iglesia ni Cristo etc.
My sister is obsessed with this fucking plexus selling shit. I cancelled my account and she refuses to talk to me anymore. Fuck it. She started trying to recruit my friends and got mad at them, and they told me about it. Terrible!
They gotta stop with the cliché’s. Add up all the quotes they’ve used and delete them from their little speeches and they have even less to say. Just gibberish.

Hahahaha the video ends with your friends walking away with the new shampoo while the song 🎵 Another one bites the dust 🎼🎶
😎
I was just waiting for her to start handing out koolaid
Great video! It really shows what psycological techniqes are beeing used to prevent people from critical thinking.
I could never do this bc I’m not gonna be pushy w someone to buy a product or to join my work. Like I respect people when they say no the first time! I could never Pressure people like that and it’s even worse that they encourage them to do it to their friends and families! That shit ends relationships and they don’t care as long as it makes them some money!
i love your shirt!! that color looks really good on you 💕
No Plexus does not advertise that it is a Christian organization but that's one of the reasons I left; a bunch of mean, judgemental women using religion as a ruler by which to measure you up.
Thanks for the content, Isabella, calling out that 🐂💩as always.💯 Enjoy your Summer weekend! 😁❤️☀️
You had me the first wave of that red flag 🤣
So excited for a plexus video yesssss. Also, I love love love your shirt, looks so comfy! Where did you get it ??
That's like in the Lularich doco when the chick got a "free" clothes shopping spree, they chose what she bought 😂 Bruh
Why do MLM leaders never shut up ? And why are they rude?
🙋♀️ Am Christian. Am business owner. Can confirm. You don’t have to be like this or put up with this. There are laws, actually. And we don’t lie to our employees like this chick lied to her team for an entire year about maintaining her rank.
I love these videos !!! I have tried to support friends on and off for years by buying their products even if I'm not wild about the products and even if I know that they are overpriced but seems like it's getting harder and harder because they just want to sell memberships and make me a seller as well!!!!!!
"Am I a blizard!?...no"
I literally got a message from them last night and was so upset plexus is the company that pushed me into anti mlm after i was told i didnt want a second child if i didnt buy the pink drink. Such a disgusting company.
Frist 😹😹🥰 I wait for these videos. It's one of the best parts of my week.
Lemme know if you have questions 👀
Also I haven’t gotten into this video yet but if you haven’t covered Celeste Gwynn, you need to. She’s the TOP top leader. First person that hit the top rank in the company. She’s trashhhhh
They’re all the worst. I was attacked on Facebook (by up lines/sidelines) for posting a selfie after getting a flu shot when I was in the cult lmao so gross
That flower 🌸 shirt is the UGLIEST shirt. I think my 92 year old grandma has that shirt 👕.. lol 😂
Your videos got me through a day of cleaninggggg and now I’m making dinner 😬🥳
13:40 I feel like a bit of an odd duck because I've NEVER had an experience with any MLM, either by myself or regarding anyone I'm close to. I've received letters from Vector and one of my acquaintances in high school joined Paparazzi (GOD I hope she quit after that debacle), but those were less experience and more happenstance.
That baby learning to walk also doesn't have BILLS to pay. Who the hell can wait THAT LONG for a return?! Wtf!
I've noticed when my aunt did plexus, it did seem very Christian focused
I bloody ADORE my teens - I couldn't imagine joking about punching them.
Australia is full of the worst mums, atleast in my local area anyways
SAME!
New Sub! love your content
She’s saying “I believe in you” and being like SOME PEOPLE HATE THIS. Omg did anyone leave yet? Acting like what she’s saying is so controversial and revolutionary. We’ve heard this babble a million times. Be positive, blah, blah, we all know it. It’s easier said than done.
a lot of my perfectionism comes from my ADHD; that might be something worth looking into.
Isabella, can you do a deep dive into tlc's sister wifes janelle & Christine) promoting this plexus sh*t? They recrute & sell like crazy on instagram, using their their "fame"to recrute😡
Why does she keep looking up to the ceiling? That room wouldn’t be that packed and she’s acting like they are in stadium 😂
Obe never seen a plexus react. Glad i found your channel
It’s crazy!
This is like an MLM church ⛪️ “adjust” I thought this was your own business .. hmmm 🤔
Is it weird that I’ve developed a crush on Isabella smh 🤦🏻♂️
And that’s the scary part EVERYONE can join!!!
I'm so confused where is she looking at . Because I personally hate when people talk to me but don't look at me . The way she acts to . -_-
To the poor hostages...I mean boss babes she has trapped there
Failure is a noun gurl 😩
Why do we have to go to church every time we were supposed to be talking about the business.. 🙄🙄🙄
All this “training” just to send “hey girl” on Instagram and Facebook ?? Geez
Can I have a red flag too 🤣🤣🤣 even at my 9 to 5 i need one from time to time lol. But I'd still work there any day
Ewww. This was so cringe. The way she paused after a statement, acting like she’s a preacher? Who has to listen to this kind of phony self esteem/religious crap at a job??? Horrible!! This is horrible in my opinion. Yes, Isabella- do a deep dive when you have time!
Did she skip ANY religious or MLM cliche??
No, I don't think she skipped any of them. I think that she covered all of them. 🙄💯 Yikes.
Gawd. Why do these people have to raise their voices and repeat.every.sentence???? Ugh....
The preacher mentality
She has a whole thing about opinions Not being facts which is of course true.
However she also says you get to pick your truth! NO!!
Also where are they? It looks like she’s standing at a podium in a funeral home!
Lmao!!!
@@josephinehenry8236 seriously though!!! Lol
Why does this feel like a sermon?
Terrible!
“Failure” actually is a noun. 😒 Ms. English 1101
Much like the word “dumbass” which is also a noun.
“You get to choose your truth” that is so far from Christian
They gotta stop with the cliché’s. Add up all the quotes they’ve used and delete them from their little speeches and they have even less to say. Just gibberish.
This is a sermon not a business meeting
This sounds more like a sermon then training for work
Yes, there is a difference of a reactive opinion & an educated opinion.
You =educated opinion
Them= reactive opinion
😉✌👍
