Awesome! The only complaint is the guys kill so many Z`s that they would need to be superman if they fought so long during melee combat. A bit too heavy on killing , but at least it is not full of dumb filler. Adrian`s Diary was too full of drama and the author made alot if mistakes that contradicted each other.
I think many of them were just sheltering there because there is a couple, man and wife, who came from there that thank him for allowing them to go with the group.
A number would have been there just for suicidal thoughts. I worked in the field for a year, and depending on how bad it is you can be sent to one for crisis treatment

Not bad for a zombie book. But there is a bunch of shit he gets wacky with, like 3 dudes fighting off a huge hoard and never tiring! And the ammo was crazy. If you are like me and carry ever day you know how impossible it would be to get cases of 30 cal. like that, plus the weight would be a back breaker. Thats alot if lead, casing and powder.
It's not that the author wanted to make it look realistic most people would believe everything they see on TV and keep calm and keep going with their daily lives. Also the average person would be in denial about something dangerous happening. Remember co. vid. I knew about it 6 months before it was on the news, I heard about it from a contact in HK and I prepared my family called me crazy for stocking up so much food and what happened stores basically ran out for a while. Anyways do you remember how the government of the world keep putting it down that nothing was wrong until it was too late.
