I think a team like Kansas City, with Joe Cullen as their DL coach, can get a lot of value out of a guy like Isaiah Foskey. He’s got good get off, good hand work, and he seems to have some power in his size and frame. I think he could be a great fit with the Chiefs, especially if they retain Frank Clark to be a mentor, like he was for George Karlaftis this past year. I feel that a mid to late 2nd round grade for him his appropriate.
I agree. He'd be a perfect fit there.
Guess someone had to break Justin Tuck's record eventually
He will be in a 3 point stance in nola
can someone explain why hes projected to be in the top 2 rounds. I mean i see some gettoff but he doesnt have bend to pair with it. He has some moves like side scissors and cross chops but hes not strong enough to have it translate to success imo. He also is very easy to dominate once you get your hands on him. I dont see this guy returning first or second round value
Cuz he runs a 45. Has 20 and a half sacks in 2 seasons. And did you hear what the man said. Everything that's wrong with him they can fix
@@michaelmorris6406 yes well I dont even look at college production cuz its so unreliable and sucks more times than not. Also yes he is relatively refined but he has no athletic upside and has major issues with bend. If he develops, and thats if, he will be a good number 2. thats a 3rd or 4th round pick to me.
@@purklepanda5574 do you hear what you said. Production doesn't mean anything. You're trying to talk about band in athletic upside to make it look like you know something. None of that matters unless there's production. That's all this guy does is make plays. He will be a very good defensive end in the NFL you watch and see. You know why. Production
@@michaelmorris6406 production is hardly an indicator of nfl success. Film is much more reliable imo.
@@purklepanda5574 that's what the problem is. No one believe their own eyes. They think they know better than what they see. The whole combine is all these guys running fast doing push ups doing all this crazy stuff. And these guys move way up just cuz of their athletic. Instead of just looking at what they really do on the football field. That's why there's so many failures in the NFL no one believe their own eyes
Well Bobby, now all I'm seeing is the False Step.
Two picks in the first round and the Seattle Seahawks have no defensive linemen.. We have Isaiah Foskey with a "false step" and no power. ANOTHER edge guy..
He has to get stronger to set the edge. he can't play right now in nfl. he looked weak all preseason and could not disengage. needs to find counter moves when his long arm fails and he has to play faster out of his stance. Looks slow and overly deliberate.
Thanks for the breakdown.
Glad it was helpful!
Love the breakdown.
Great vid! love edge vids! maybe Felix Anudike-Uzomah next?
word up
let him go to the Bengals
Oh word
I’d love to see a film breakdown of Isaiah McGuire
Wanna get the all-22 of his Georgia game and will do it
I see him as a third rounder. More of a project player for a team in desperate need of an edge rusher, but has more important needs first, such as a QB or WR. A team like the Ravens, Falcons, or Patriots. Those teams will draft some offensive talent first (QB or WR), then go for an edge in later rounds.
