      you should put the other 3 in the cichlid tank as well. maybe they'll color up eventually.

    • @Sebecean
      @Sebecean 2 года назад +3

      The ones with bright colors and spots on the lower fin are the males.
      It is a African cichlid mouth brooder the spots are fake eggs to fool the females into getting a mouth full of... milt.
      This would be a great find if you can keep the strain pure.

      @@Sebecean absolutely, it could be a new hybrid. It has good potential to have nice colors once it settles in.

    Bro please BEFORE transferring any fish from one tank to another, it can kill fish from shock of temp change. Get some small plastic bags fill with the fishes original tank water. Put the fish in the bag then place the bag with the fish in it. Let the plastic bag with fish sit in the top of the tank so it can slowly get used to the temperature difference. Then after a half hour or somewhere in there, then you can release the fish. Just giving some pro advice to keep yours fish happy and healthy. Love you're vids. Cool ass fish. Keep it up brother!!!👍🤪

      There pretty cool fish, males can be assholes. Unlike Malawi Haps, Peacocks, and Mbuna, where you can slightly overstock tanks and keep only males which can tamp down on the aggression, (especially if its a big tank with plenty of hiding spots), Victorian Hap males are super territorial/aggressive with or without females around, and aren't very good around one another. The best way to keep them is to have one male with Mawlawi Hap males, or one male with a number of females. I had a 75 gal with three different Victorian Hap males and some Mbuna and though for some miracle it worked out fine, i wouldn't suggest that a setup like that would normally work out
