I believe I have to agree with those who say that as a duo, these 2 do nothing for each other. now I know why ori hasn't taken the world by storm since I first heard of her. hope she gets back to doing her own thing, playing her own stuff!
2 Million records is low record sales???? then if that's true what would you call Ritchies 200,000 total as a solo artists?....Yeah you wont go there will you!
Ritchie Sambora is a legendary songwriter and guitarist.(Songwriters HOF). He's also a great vocalist and producer. If anybody can help Orianthi reach commercial success, it's Sambora. Thus far, Ori is known for playing cover songs. Her solo records were barely noticed.
Actually , You should REALLY do a little bit of research before you comment. Orianthi has had 3 top 10 hits and has sold more than 2 million SOLO records. She also has a ton of copyright ownerships for other songs she either co-wrote or contributed to...And she is worth over $30 million dollars...She has had PLENTY of commercial success. In fact she was riding a wave of it until she started dating Ritchie. That actually has hurt her career bigtime, He is holding her back.
Boy a lot of nasty comments on here. Maybe they're happy doing what they're doing. No more yes sir Mr. Bon jovi sir. Let's see any of u naysayers get up there and do a better job. Keyboard warriors.
I think Ritchie works best as the background guy , doing spots of vocals unless he's doing a full song himself. I mean the girl Orianthi can rock it. I mean , the album version likely will be better than this live version. The guitar stuff is like classic 80's Bon Jovi. Nice...
Maybe I actually try and do more in depth listening than telling us in every post how terrible it is. I mean honestly , we get you hate this partnership they have right now ...but we all don't need to know this LOL.
i'm on the fence. i commend RSO for trying a different sound. I can see how being in any band (even the legendary Beatles) can become stale. however as an act as of right now they are above average. i also wouldnt abandon bon jovi songs from the set. more people would come and listen to your new music if 50% of your set featured bon jovi songs. that leaves 15 songs for new stuff. you cant ask for the public to endure too much new material out of the gate.it's foreign to them.
Ritchie is a nobody without those Bon Jovi songs. His solo career was a disaster , Now he is trying to use Orianthi to find some relevance by hanging on her talents.....He needs to retire and leave Ori alone so she can get her career going again
Not really getting this combo... I agree with the disposable comment. Just nothing really exciting here. Maybe a change in producers could get them in the right direction.
They started with Luke Ebbin, then changed to Michael Bearden then to Bob Rock. Been recording in studios literally all over the world. Going to have to, imo, engineer it to death as their voices clash. No Harmony. This has to be an expensive duo and we know who has the money. They make one another both look like very negative clichés. Should have left personal and professional separate.
This is not the quality that I am used to Orianthi putting out. Sambora is just a lecherous old man. Hopefully she will wise up. if anything she should have teamed up with Vai like she did for that one video. They seemed to be having fun and had some musical chemistry. just my opinion. never been a smbora fan. he is way over rated as a guitarist and musician and person.
"This is not the quality that I am used to Orianthi putting out."...You're over-estimating her production. 12 years, only 3 solo records, feq units sold. People watch Orianthi. They don't listen to her in the car. She's a famous cover band guitarist - nor her original work,
Making history like yesterdays new. Utterly disposable. Richie: " I hope I make Heather sees me with Orianthi and gets jealous!" Orianthi: " God I hope this old fart asks me to marry him so I can tap into a few mill before he keels over". Bon Jovi: " Thank God, Richie quit, I didn't have the heart to fire him.
Ok Im not a fan of Oris voice and I dont like this when they are singing at the same time its not very easy to understand. I wanna see Richie do another album alone like b4 at least one last true solo tour before he retires xxx love u Richie always will
I'm a huge Sambora fan but i'm not really into this sharing the vox thing or their songs I've heard so far. I wish he'd just put out his own solo stuff which i love and go back to Bon Jovi. BJ needs him badly- his new stuff overall is lame
he's delusional if he thinks this is going to gain any traction. and who came up with these song titles? they smack of a man going through a midlife crisis and lucky that he had a good enough brand to hook up with a catch like her, although, i'm really not impressed with the pop drivel she puts out much either. nah, she'll get tired of 'sharing' the spotlight (although, it seems like it might be more like 60/40 there?) with his over the hill ass soon enough. she'll get out of the relationship and do interviews and talk about how he tried to control her blah blah blah and how she feels so free and empowered now to do her own thing and her female admirers will rally around her and it will strengthen her fanbase because...that's what it's all about right? facing adversity and coming out on top, better than ever? everybody likes a comeback story. turn on any daytime talk show all day long and that is what you'll see. this 'project' will end the same way. you'll see...
It is a very windy day so sound travels Her. Problem is that she is to cool stiff She does not engage ever And never takes her glasses of and hides under that hair wich is much to overtaking It's hard to trust her She has to engage more With him as well to cool for school It's awkward but good on them what a great life to. Love and play together
Ritchie Sambora: 1) Legendary songwriter (Songwriters HOF inductee). 2) over 100M units sold 3) Excellent vocalist and record producer. Started his own record company at 19 y/o. 4) Talent is a life-long, inherent gift. Some have it, some don't. Talent can't be created and it's never lost.
He has CO-WRITTEN legendary songs with John Bon Jovi 200,000 solo artist record sales (the 100m is John Bon Jovi) His vocals are a direct attempt to copy John Bon Jovi's (Ritchie's voice sucks) His long life is almost over , as he is a raging drunk and loves a line or two of coke (and has his entire adult life) Some just get lucky to be in a historic band with a great lead singer (Bon Jovi) and can reap the rewards from it for an entire career
Sorry this song sounds like mush. They aere both talented in their own right but I am sorry they have ZERO Chemistry on stage. They do not sound good together on this or any of the Bon Jovi stuff the end
Sambora needs a diet and Personal Trainer. Orianthi Out shines him , but she needs to lose the hat and shades. Open up and Preform to the audience . her presence just isn't projecting
Sorry, love Orianthi, but this is crap. Ori should get back too doing stuff in her own style and drop this duo, I get that they are in a relationship but this stuff just isn't working.
After 12 years, Orianthi still hasn't reached commercial success. She's known as a "Top Female Guitarist", Ori is a guitarist people watch. She's not somebody people listen to in the car. She has potential as a songwriter and Sambora is one of the best songwriters in rock and a Songwriters HOF member. Between his solo records and as co-writer with Bon Jovi, Sambora reached the 100 million records sold mark,
It's not the talent, they have plenty. Their styles contrast , apart they're great... together...not so much. I think Ritchie is the problem, she did great with Steve Vai and alice cooper. I think Ritchie must be writing this crap.
everyone's a critic
honestly, who cares about these two
Richie is a legend, doing his own thing with his sidekick...good for both of them
Two great talents ! Love the guitar work
Excelent music. Richie is awsome. Excelent musician. Ori too
I think it's a nice song. Nice riff, good old fashioned rock and roll , nothing wrong with that is there.
If he's happy, we all should be happy
I believe I have to agree with those who say that as a duo, these 2 do nothing for each other.
now I know why ori hasn't taken the world by storm since I first heard of her.
hope she gets back to doing her own thing, playing her own stuff!
You Rock Richie!!!
Too many nasty comments richie is a legend he does Not need a diet if he,s healthy and happy thats all that matters
thats good to saw Orianthi but i want her to do new project ALONE!!! pleaseee she's to good to be in a duo! she have to be the headlight!!!
Ori is a great cover band guitarist. For 12 years, she been trying to reach commercial success. 12 years, only 3 records, low record sales.
2 Million records is low record sales???? then if that's true what would you call Ritchies 200,000 total as a solo artists?....Yeah you wont go there will you!
Live It Up Guys you both look so good together
Go RICHIE!!!!!!!!! Exellent!!!!!!!!

obviously some great sound engineers were involved
Que dupla. Torço para que dê tudo certo.
This is way more exciting than what Bon Jovi is doing these days.
Orianthi, please, please....get back to shredding, go solo..get your band back, get back to music that kicks ASS!! ❤YOU
Richie like Gene SImmons on this)))
Richie is done. Give it up dude
guitarz 5150 jealous
guitarz 5150 is being realistic
Simply pure and raw Rock..The way it's meant to sound! Those that don't get it....stick to Bieber

yeah because Ori really had a lot of hits on her own. she was far more of a nobody. please name me two top ten hits she had?
Not really getting this combo... I agree with the disposable comment. Just nothing really exciting here. Maybe a change in producers could get them in the right direction.

Both good players, but Richie hasn t energy to singing and palaying at the time...sorry I don t like this...

Sorry Richie, you are still NOT the front man. LOL!! Looks you now answer to a someone else. Not to mention, no bueno!

It's obvious who is the star here, and it's not Richie, I'm sad to say.
Get back into re-hab man.

There better apart ,together not so much
Sambora needs a diet and Personal Trainer.
Orianthi Out shines him , but she needs to lose the hat and shades.
Open up and Preform to the audience . her presence just isn't projecting
I like and respect them both as musicians in general, but this is fucking terrible.

COMPLETELY AGREE! She is killing her career doing this with Ritchie. She does way better on her own.
no me gustó el concierto, Richie ya no tiene nada que hacer en la música. sorry
It's not the talent, they have plenty. Their styles contrast , apart they're great... together...not so much. I think Ritchie is the problem, she did great with Steve Vai and alice cooper. I think Ritchie must be writing this crap.
Well that sucked
Generic song. Really nice les Paul.
Bad
