You're so welcome! Most players put their overgrip on over the original grip and replace the overgrip when it gets too dirty/broken down, and this is usually the best place to start if you are unsure. All that to say, there are a few reasons why you might remove the original grip first. 1. The stock grip is too large for your hand, and you want to reduce the circumference of the handle. Note that 1 overgrip by itself will not cushion the grip much at all, and depending on the material beneath, it may be uncomfortable to play with long term. 2. The stock grip is too cushioned or bulky and you want a more connected feel to the paddle. Some players will use 1-3 overgrips instead of a base grip to get their desired grip circumference with a sharper connection to the bevels of the handle. - Joseph
Thanks for sharing your experience! We have not put these through enough of a test drive to experience that, but it's certainly something we will look out for. - Joseph

Thx for the video. Do I need to remove the original grip before adding the over grip? What are the pros and cons? Thx

That paddle is one of the most aesthetic on the market.
Like your technique for edge tape, but 4th tape designs "separate" I've found. Too bad since the designs are what makes them POP.
